tatra caand on that pointऔर वहाँ (उस प्रसंग में)
tāvat asmākaṁ sā kathāthat talk of ours, for now — [let it rest] the imperative 'let it rest' is understood, not statedहमारी वह चर्चा फिलहाल (यहाँ 'रहने दें' यह आज्ञार्थ समझा जाता है, कहा नहीं गया)
iti abhipretyahaving this in mindऐसा अभिप्राय रखकर
āhahe (Rūpa) saysकहते हैं
tathā ca itithe words 'tathā ca' pratīka — the lemma being introduced'तथा च' यह (जो पद यहाँ प्रस्तुत किया जा रहा है)
tatra ca asmākaṁ sā kathā tāvat [āstām] iti abhipretya — with the thought 'and on that point, let that talk of ours rest for now', āha tathā ca iti — he says 'tathā ca'
Viśvanātha reads the lead-in the same way: Rūpa sets aside his own discussion for now and brings in the outside verse with 'tathā ca'.
Viśvanātha glosses the connective 'tathā ca—' as Rūpa deferring his own treatment to a quoted verse.

sa-cetasāṁ hanumad-ādīnāṁ, na tu avidyā-grastānāṁ teṣāṁ sa-cetastvasyaivāsadbhāvāt ||
sa-cetasāṁof those possessed of consciousness — the sentient gen.; names whose 'anubhava' (L2) counts as proofसचेतन (जाग्रत चेतना वाले) जनों का (षष्ठी — जिनका L2 वाला 'अनुभव' प्रमाण माना जाता है)
hanumad-ādīnāṁsuch as Hanumān and the likeहनुमान् आदि (सचेतन भक्तों) का
na tubut notपरन्तु नहीं
avidyā-grastānāṁ teṣāṁof those gripped by ignoranceअविद्या से ग्रस्त उन (जीवों) का नहीं
sa-cetastvasya eva asad-bhāvātbecause for them the very state of being conscious does not exist abl. of reason; eva pins it to the state itself — they lack real awareness, not merely a refined oneक्योंकि उनमें सचेतनता का ही अभाव है (पञ्चमी — कारण; 'एव' उसे इसी अवस्था पर स्थिर करता है — उनमें परिष्कृत नहीं, वास्तविक चेतना ही नहीं)
anubhavaḥ [pramāṇam] — the experience is proof — sa-cetasāṁ hanumad-ādīnāṁ — for the sentient, such as Hanumān; na tu avidyā-grastānāṁ teṣāṁ — but not for those gripped by ignorance; teṣāṁ sa-cetastvasya eva asad-bhāvāt — because for them the very state of being conscious does not exist
Viśvanātha limits whose experience counts. The 'direct experience' that proves the joy belongs to sentient beings like Hanumān. It does not belong to those gripped by ignorance, because they have no real consciousness to feel it with.
This qualifies 'anubhavaḥ … tatra kevalam' of L2: the experiential proof holds only for the conscious devotee (Hanumān as the type), not the ignorance-bound, who lack the awareness that would register such happiness.
