pañcadhā eva iti — on 'only fivefold'; hāsya-ādīnāṁ — of hāsya and the rest; vyabhicāriṣu paryavasānāt — because they resolve into the passing moods.
Why 'only fivefold'? Because hāsya and the other six secondary rasas don't stand on their own. They finally settle back into the vyabhicārī bhāvas — the passing, supporting moods. So the Purāṇas count only the five that hold as full rasas.

śrī-mukundaḥ — Śrī Mukunda; vastutaḥ pañcadhā eva iti — on 'but in fact only fivefold'; hāsya-ādīnāṁ rasatvaṁ — the rasa-status of hāsya and the rest; bharata-ādīnāṁ sammatyā eva — rests only on the agreement of Bharata and others; iti bhāvaḥ — such is the sense.
Śrī Mukunda draws out the point behind 'but in fact only fivefold.' Hāsya and the other six get called rasas only because Bharata and the old dramaturgists agreed to count them so. It is their sanction, not the thing itself, that makes those six rasas. That is why the truer count is five.
