Viśvanātha anchors the verse to the rāsa scene: Kṛṣṇa vanished and Rādhā grieved, exactly as the Tenth Canto tells it. So the abandonment in the verse is Kṛṣṇa's own doing. Rādhā, collapsed on the forest floor with her limbs slack, is revived when the scent of his garland reaches her nostrils.
Why cited: Bhā.Pu. 10.30.39, cited to fix the verse's setting in the rāsa-līlā — Kṛṣṇa's sudden disappearance and Rādhā's grief — so the anonymous 'abandonment' is read as Kṛṣṇa's own act.
