prathama-darśana-rūḍha-sukhāvalī-
prathama-darśana-rūḍha-sukha-āvalī-by the flood of joy that welled up from first seeing [Kṛṣṇa] front half of a long compound feeding kavalita in L2; instrumental force ('swallowed by…')प्रथम दर्शन से उमड़े सुख की जो लहर (आवली) है, उसके द्वारा — यह लम्बे समास का पूर्वार्ध है, जो आगे L2 के कवलित से जुड़कर 'सुख की उस लहर से निगली गई' ऐसा अर्थ देता है
prathama-darśana-rūḍha-sukha-āvalī- — by the flood of joy welling up from first sight [continues into L2]
prathama-darśana — पहली बार दर्शन; rūḍha — जिसमें उमड़ आया; sukha — सुख; āvalī — पंक्ति, लहर (जिसके द्वारा)
At the very first sight of Kṛṣṇa a wave of joy rose up in her. That is the cause the verse names first, before it tells us the effect.
कृष्ण को पहली बार देखने से जो सुख उमड़ पड़ा, उसकी पूरी लहर से। यह समास आगे 'निगली गई' क्रिया से जुड़ता है।
An udāharaṇa in the vyabhicāri-laharī (2.4): per the lead-in 'tatra śabdena, yathā', it illustrates a transient emotion aroused by śabda — the sound of hearing Kṛṣṇa's name.
यह २.४ की व्यभिचारी-लहरी का एक उदाहरण है। 'तत्र शब्देन, यथा' इस भूमिका के अनुसार यह शब्द से — अर्थात् कृष्ण के नाम के श्रवण से — जागा हुआ एक क्षणिक भाव दिखाता है।

The joy was so strong it gulped down the working of her senses. She became senseless — her eyes, ears, everything shut off.
इस (राधा) की इन्द्रियों की सारी क्रिया मानो निगल ली गई। उसकी इन्द्रियाँ काम करना छोड़ बैठीं।

aghabhidaḥ iti — the word 'aghabhidaḥ'; pūrvatra paratra ca — with both the earlier and the later phrase; anvitam — is construed
aghabhidaḥ iti — 'अघभित्' पद; pūrvatra paratra ca — पूर्व में और पर में; anvitam — अन्वित
Jīva flags a grammatical point: the single genitive 'of Aghabhid' works in two directions. It reaches back to 'first sight [of him]' and forward to 'the name [of him]'. One word, doing double duty.
'अघभित्' पद पहले (दर्शन) और बाद (नाम) — दोनों जगह जुड़ता है।

Viśvanātha spells out the first two lines. The joy of first seeing Kṛṣṇa seized her senses. He glosses the poet's 'kavalitā' (swallowed) with the plainer 'grastā' (seized). And he names the state exactly: she fainted from bliss — ānanda-mūrcchā.
