An udāharaṇa of cāpala (impetuosity), the 30th vyabhicāri-bhāva defined at 2.4.168 as 'lightness of mind arising from rāga, dveṣa and the like,' with lack of deliberation and willful action among its signs. Per the lead-in 'tatra rāgeṇa,' this verse illustrates cāpala arising through rāga (passionate attachment): Rukmiṇī, out of love, boldly plots her own abduction. The verse is Rukmiṇī's letter, Bhāgavata 10.52.41.
