hari-līlā-sudhā-sindhos taṭam apy adhitiṣṭhataḥ |
hari-līlā-sudhā-sindhoḥof the nectar-ocean of Hari's playहरि की लीला रूपी अमृत के समुद्र का
taṭam apieven the shore — merely the edge of it api concedes: not even immersed, only standing at the bankकेवल तट पर ही — 'अपि' कहकर यह मान लिया कि उसमें डूबा नहीं, बस किनारे पर खड़ा है
adhitiṣṭhataḥof me, [who am] standing upon [it] gen. participle agreeing with mama in L2 — 'for me, as I stand there'उस पर खड़े हुए (मुझ) का — षष्ठी का यह कृदन्त आगे L2 के 'मम' से मिलता है, 'वहाँ खड़े हुए मेरा'
hari-līlā-sudhā-sindhoḥ taṭam api adhitiṣṭhataḥ — of me, standing even at the shore of the nectar-ocean of Hari's play
Just to stand at the very edge of the nectar-ocean of Hari's pastimes — not even plunged in, only at the shore. The verse sets up what such a person then feels toward everything else.
First line of an udāharaṇa of dhṛti (contentment/fortitude), the vyabhicāri just before harṣa; the lead-in 'uttamāptyā, yathā—' names its cause as uttama-āpti, 'attaining the highest.'

mano mama catur-vargaṁ tṛṇāyāpi na manyate ||
mano mamamy mindमेरा मन
catur-vargamthe four human goals — dharma, artha, kāma, and mokṣaचार पुरुषार्थों (धर्म, अर्थ, काम, मोक्ष) को
tṛṇāya apias even worth a blade of grass dative of valuation: 'to be reckoned as [worth only] a straw'तिनके के बराबर भी — इतने मोल का ही मानना (मूल्य दर्शाने वाली चतुर्थी)
na manyatedoes not regard [it as]नहीं मानता
mama manaḥ catur-vargam tṛṇāya api na manyate — my mind does not regard the four goals as worth even a blade of grass
My mind does not count the four great aims of life — piety, wealth, pleasure, even liberation — as worth so much as a blade of grass. One who has tasted the shore of Hari's pastimes finds the whole ladder of worldly and liberationist goals worthless: that steady, unshaken contentment is dhṛti.
