anullāsa-śvāsā muhur asaralottānita-dṛśo
anullāsa-śvāsāḥwhose breaths have lost all vigor (nominative, describing the pious ones) bahuvrīhi: 'those whose (śvāsāḥ) breaths are without (an-) liveliness (ullāsa)'जिनकी श्वासें उल्लास (जीवन-स्फूर्ति) से रहित हैं — ऐसे लोग
asarala-uttānita-dṛśaḥwhose eyes are crooked and rolled upward (nominative, still describing them) bahuvrīhi: dṛśaḥ = eyes; asarala = not straight, i.e. twisted; uttānita = turned upजिनकी दृष्टि सरल (सीधी) न रहकर टेढ़ी हो गई और ऊपर की ओर चढ़ गई है
anullāsa-śvāsāḥ — whose breaths have lost all vigor; muhuḥ — again and again; asarala-uttānita-dṛśaḥ — whose eyes are crooked and rolled upward
Their breathing has gone lifeless. Again and again their eyes twist and roll upward. This is the body of someone dying.
An udāharaṇa (illustrative verse) of mṛti / maraṇa, death, a vyabhicāri-bhāva of the caturtha-laharī (2.4). Viśvanātha opens his gloss with maraṇa-samaye, 'at the time of death,' confirming the scene.

All over the body a fresh, indescribable pallor is breaking out. They are showing it everywhere.
kim api here is the poetic 'some indescribable —', marking the pallor as beyond words.

They are saying Hari's name, but heavy waves of hiccups keep breaking it up so it comes out garbled.

So the fortunate ones give up their lives in Mathurā, still muttering Hari's name to the last. That death in Mathurā, name on the lips, is what marks them as blessed.

Jīva offers no comment here: the verse is left unexplained.
The verse-line is a joint Jīva–Mukunda block; only Jīva is in scope for this decode, and his note is simply that the verse is passed over without gloss.

Viśvanātha reads it straight as a deathbed scene. At the moment of death their breath has no vigor; their eyes are twisted and rolled up. Such pious people, hiccupping in loud waves that garble the words, keep muttering Hari's name and so give up their lives. He simply unpacks each compound of the verse without adding a second layer.
