uru-karakābhiḥalong with huge hailstones instrumental of accompaniment, paired with samam — the rain comes hail and allबड़े-बड़े ओलों के साथ (वर्षा आती है)
danti-śuṇḍā-sapiṇḍāḥlooking just like elephants' trunks — thick and ropey nominative plural describing the rain-streams of L2; sa-piṇḍa = 'of one lump/shape,' i.e. resembling. Viśvanātha glosses it hasti-śuṇḍā-sadṛśāḥहाथी की सूँड़ के समान (मोटी) — (वर्षा की धाराओं का विशेषण)
samam — together with; uru-karakābhiḥ — huge hailstones; danti-śuṇḍā-sapiṇḍāḥ — [the streams] resembling elephants' trunks.
samam — के साथ; uru-karakābhiḥ — बड़े ओलों के साथ; danti-śuṇḍā-sapiṇḍāḥ — हाथी की सूँड़-सी।
Along with huge hailstones, [rain-streams] thick as elephants' trunks [are coming down]. The line piles up the image before naming the streams in the next line.
बड़े-बड़े ओलों के साथ, हाथी की सूँड़ जैसी मोटी (वर्षा की धाराएँ गिर रही हैं)।
An udāharaṇa of varṣa-ja āvega — agitation (āvega) born of rain. It is a second example (lead-in yathā vā) continuing the rain-born āvega of 2.4.70; the āvega sub-types are sorted by cause across 2.4.64-71 (seeing the beloved, hearing, fire, wind, rain).
यह वर्षा से उत्पन्न आवेग का उदाहरण है। 'यथा वा' कहकर यह दूसरा उदाहरण दिया गया है, जो २.४.७० के वर्षा-जन्य आवेग को ही आगे बढ़ाता है; २.४.६४–७१ में आवेग के भेद उनके कारण के अनुसार क्रम से रखे गए हैं (प्रिय को देखना, सुनना, अग्नि, वायु, वर्षा)।

Here in the cow-village, rain is coming down in sheets on every side. Now the subject arrives: those elephant-trunk streams of L1 are the vṛṣṭi-dhārāḥ that are falling.
इस व्रज में हर दिशा में वर्षा की धाराएँ गिर रही हैं।

yuvānaḥ api — even the grown men; ākulāḥ — panicked; ajaniṣata — have become; tvam tu — but you; bālaḥ — a mere boy.
ajaniṣata — हो गए; yuvānaḥ api — बलवान युवक भी; ākulāḥ — व्याकुल; tvaṁ tu bālaḥ — परन्तु तू तो बालक है।
Even the grown young men have been thrown into a panic. But you — you are only a boy. The speaker sets the strong men's fright against Kṛṣṇa's tender age to press the plea coming in L4.
बलवान युवक भी व्याकुल हो गए; परन्तु तू तो अभी बालक ही है।

sphuṭam — clearly; bālaḥ asi — you are a boy; tat — therefore; agārāt — from the house; niryiyāsuḥ mā sma bhūḥ — do not be one who wishes to go out.
sphuṭam — स्पष्ट ही; asi — तू है; tat — इसलिए; agārāt — घर से; mā sma bhūḥ niryiyāsuḥ — बाहर निकलने का इच्छुक मत बन।
You are plainly just a boy — so do not go setting your heart on stepping out of the house. The desiderative makes it sharper: not merely 'don't go' but 'don't even wish to go.'
स्पष्ट ही तू (बालक) है; इसलिए घर से बाहर निकलने की इच्छा तक मत कर।

agārāt itithe word he takes up to comment on: 'from the house' (agārāt) pratīka — Jīva quotes the verse's key word before glossing'अगारात्' — इस पद को (लेकर) — प्रतीक, जीव व्याख्या से पहले श्लोक का मुख्य पद उद्धृत करते हैं
agārāt iti — [on the phrase] 'from the house.'
agārāt iti — 'अगारात्' इस पद को (लेकर)।
Jīva picks out the verse's word agārāt, 'from the house,' as the point to comment on.
'अगारात्' — इस पद को उद्धृत करके जीव व्याख्या आरम्भ करते हैं।

tatra eva — in that very place; vṛṣṭi-prāptau — once the rain comes; govardhana-paryanta-gamanaṁ tu — but the going as far as Govardhana; punaḥ bhāṇḍīram āpitā itivat — is again like 'brought to Bhāṇḍīra.'
tatra eva vṛṣṭi-prāptau — वहीं वर्षा होने पर; govardhana-paryanta-gamanaṁ tu — गोवर्धन तक जाना तो; punaḥ — फिर; bhāṇḍīram āpitā itivat — 'भाण्डीरम् आपिता' के समान।
Jīva heads off a tension: the speaker says 'stay in the house,' yet in that same Vraja, when the rains come, [the boys] do go all the way out to Govardhana. He says read it the way one reads the expression 'they were brought to Bhāṇḍīra' — as a known parallel, not a contradiction.
वहीं वर्षा होने पर गोवर्धन तक जाना तो — यह 'भाण्डीरम् आपिता' जैसे प्रयोग के समान है।
The exact referent of bhāṇḍīram āpitā is a compressed cross-reference to another passage and is left unresolved here; Jīva only signals it as a parallel usage (itivat), so the decode does not reconstruct it.
'भाण्डीरम् आपिता' का ठीक-ठीक तात्पर्य किसी अन्य स्थल का संक्षिप्त संकेत है और यहाँ अनिर्णीत छोड़ा गया है; जीव इसे केवल एक समान प्रयोग ('इतिवत्') के रूप में दिखाते हैं, अतः डिकोड में इसका पुनर्निर्माण नहीं किया गया।

Viśvanātha simply restates the verse: along with the big hailstones, water-streams like elephants' trunks are pouring down; so, O Kṛṣṇa, do not set out from the house. His paraphrase fixes the addressee as Kṛṣṇa and swaps in the plainer desiderative jigamiṣuḥ for the verse's niryiyāsuḥ.
बड़े ओलों के साथ हाथी की सूँड़ जैसी जल-धाराएँ गिर रही हैं; इसलिए हे कृष्ण, घर से बाहर निकलने की इच्छा तक मत कर।
