An udāharaṇa (illustrative verse, Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam 10.14.10, spoken by Brahmā to Kṛṣṇa) for a vyabhicāri-bhāva that arises aparādhena — 'through an offense' — as the lead-in states. Brahmā, having offended, speaks of himself in the third person and begs pardon.

Jīva turns the verse's 'this one' back into plain first person: I am the one who deserves compassion.
The segment opens in the source with the token 'trayo'', which does not parse cleanly here; the intelligible core is 'aham anukampyaḥ' ('I deserve compassion'), and the opening word is likely a corruption (e.g. of 'tathāyam' or 'so'ham'). Flagged per the ingestion caveat; not resolved.
