kṛṣṇādhikṣepa-jātena vyākulo nakulāmbujaḥ |
kṛṣṇādhikṣepa-jātenabecause of the anger born from the insult against Kṛṣṇa instrumental of cause; -jāta "born from," with the anger (see amarṣeṇa in L2) understood as what it modifiesकृष्ण पर किए गए आक्षेप से उत्पन्न (क्रोध) के कारण
vyākulaḥthrown into turmoil, badly shakenविह्वल, अत्यन्त क्षुब्ध
nakulāmbujaḥhe — whom Viśvanātha names Sahadeva, Nakula's twin nominative subject; lit. "the lotus of Nakula," a poetic tag for his twin brotherनकुल का कमल अर्थात् उसका जुड़वाँ भाई (सहदेव)
nakulāmbujaḥ — he (Sahadeva, per Viśvanātha); kṛṣṇādhikṣepa-jātena — by the anger born from the insult against Kṛṣṇa; vyākulaḥ — thrown into turmoil.
Sahadeva — the one Viśvanātha identifies here — is thrown into turmoil. What shakes him is the anger that rises from the insult flung at Kṛṣṇa.
An udāharaṇa (illustrative verse) of vepathu (kampa, trembling) as a sāttvika-bhāva — the verb cakampe "trembled" in L2 — here arising from amarṣa (indignation), the cause named in the lead-in "amarṣeṇa, yathā."

cakampe drāg amarṣeṇa bhū-kampe girirāḍ iva ||
cakampetrembled, shookकाँप उठा
drākat once, on the instantतुरन्त, उसी क्षण
amarṣeṇaout of indignation, from sheer intolerance instrumental of cause — this is the amarṣa the lead-in names as what triggers the tremblingक्योंकि उसमें अमर्ष (क्रोध) था — उस क्रोध के कारण
bhū-kampewhen the earth quakes locative of occasion — "during an earthquake," setting up the simileजब भूकम्प होता है, तब
girirāṭ ivalike the king of mountainsपर्वतराज (सबसे बड़े पर्वत) के समान
amarṣeṇa — out of indignation; drāk — at once; cakampe — he trembled; bhū-kampe girirāṭ iva — like the king of mountains when the earth quakes.
Out of sheer indignation he trembled on the instant — the way the great mountain shakes when the earth quakes beneath it.
The simile is the point: as an earthquake makes even the mountain-king shudder, so the insult to Kṛṣṇa makes the anger shudder through Sahadeva's body — the outward trembling is the sāttvika sign.

kṛṣṇety atra padye bhū-kampeneva bhūdhara iti vā pāṭhaḥ ||
kṛṣṇety atra padyein this verse beginning "kṛṣṇa…"'
bhū-kampeneva bhūdharaḥ itithe words "bhū-kampena iva bhūdharaḥ" (a mountain, as by an earthquake) names the variant wording that would replace bhū-kampe girirāḍ iva — instrumental bhū-kampena "by an earthquake," bhūdharaḥ "the earth-bearer, mountain"'भूकम्प से जैसे पर्वत' — इस रूप में (वैकल्पिक शब्दावली)
vā pāṭhaḥis also a reading found vā = "or"; pāṭha = a textual variant, not an interpretationअथवा (यह) पाठ है — अर्थात् पाठभेद, व्याख्या नहीं
kṛṣṇeti atra padye — in this "kṛṣṇa…" verse; bhū-kampena iva bhūdharaḥ iti vā pāṭhaḥ — there is also the reading "bhū-kampena iva bhūdharaḥ."
Jīva notes a variant reading: in place of "bhū-kampe girirāḍ iva," some copies read "bhū-kampena iva bhūdharaḥ" — "like a mountain, as by an earthquake." He records it without choosing between the two.
A pāṭhāntara (manuscript variant), not a second interpretation — the sense stays the earthquake-and-mountain simile; only the case and the word for "mountain" differ.

śiśupālena kṛto yaḥ śrī-kṛṣṇe adhikṣepaḥ taj-jātena roṣeṇa ākulaḥ sahadevaḥ ||
śiśupālena kṛtaḥthe one made by Śiśupāla instrumental of agent — Śiśupāla is who did the insultingशिशुपाल के द्वारा किया गया
yaḥ śrī-kṛṣṇe adhikṣepaḥnamely, the insult flung at Śrī Kṛṣṇa locative śrī-kṛṣṇe = the target, "against Kṛṣṇa"; yaḥ … relative picking out that insultजो श्रीकृष्ण के प्रति आक्षेप (था)
taj-jātena roṣeṇaby the fury born from that instrumental of cause — spells out kṛṣṇādhikṣepa-jātena of L1, supplying roṣa "fury" as the implied wordउससे उत्पन्न रोष (क्रोध) के कारण
ākulaḥ sahadevaḥit is Sahadeva who is agitatedव्याकुल हुआ सहदेव
śiśupālena kṛtaḥ yaḥ śrī-kṛṣṇe adhikṣepaḥ — the insult against Śrī Kṛṣṇa that Śiśupāla committed; taj-jātena roṣeṇa ākulaḥ — agitated by the fury born from it; sahadevaḥ — [that agitated one is] Sahadeva.
Viśvanātha unpacks the verse: the insult was Śiśupāla's, aimed at Śrī Kṛṣṇa. The fury born from that insult is what agitates — and the one it agitates, he tells us, is Sahadeva. He thereby fills in both the agent (Śiśupāla) and the subject (Sahadeva) that the mūla leaves as a compound and a poetic tag.
Viśvanātha reads kṛṣṇādhikṣepa-jātena as "by the fury (roṣa) born from Śiśupāla's insult," and identifies nakulāmbuja as Sahadeva.
