upasthite citra-paṭāmbudāgame
upasthite ... āgameonce the arrival had come — was present locative absolute: upasthite agrees with āgame, setting the time-frame 'when X had arrived'जब आगमन उपस्थित हो गया — अर्थात् जब वह आ पहुँचा, तब (सप्तमी में समय-सूचक 'होने पर')
citra-paṭāmbudāgamethe arrival of the cloud that is the painted cloth (citra-paṭa = the picture-cloth painted with Kṛṣṇa; ambuda = rain-cloud; āgama = coming)चित्रपट रूपी अम्बुद (जलधर) का आगमन — श्याम कृष्ण के चित्र वाला वस्त्र मानो वर्षा का मेघ आ पहुँचा
citra-paṭa-ambuda-āgame — the arrival of the cloud that is the painted cloth; upasthite — once it was present (locative absolute).
When the cloud arrived — but the 'cloud' here is a painted cloth showing dark Kṛṣṇa. The whole verse runs on one picture: the cloth is a rain-cloud, the longing girl is a cātaka bird, and her sighs are the monsoon storm-wind. So: once that cloud (the painting) had come into view...
An udāharaṇa of śvāsa-bhūmā, 'the abundance of sighing' (the lead-in: śvāsa-bhūmā, yathā—) — śvāsa (sighing) as an anubhāva in the second (anubhāva) laharī. The verse is built on a sustained double-image: the citra-paṭa (a painted cloth of dark Kṛṣṇa) reads as an ambuda (rain-cloud); the heroine reads as a cātakī (the cātaka bird, which drinks only rain); and her niḥśvāsa (sighs) read as the jhañjhā-marut (monsoon gale) — so the sighing is measured by a storm strong enough to blow the cloud away.

The cātaka bird named Lalitā, her thirst swollen. The cātaka drinks only falling rain, so it craves the cloud — here that craving is Lalitā's longing for Kṛṣṇa, grown intense at the sight of his painted 'cloud'.
The name Lalitā is given in the mūla itself (lalitā-ākhya); the she-cātaka (cātakī) is the stock image of one who will take water from nothing but the cloud, hence the emblem of single-pointed longing.

Her sighing was a monsoon gale — and that gale blew the cloud away. Sighing this violent is the whole point: it is a storm strong enough to drive off the very cloud she was longing for.
apavāhitaṁ modifies kṛṣṇāmbudākāram in the next line — the thing driven away is the Kṛṣṇa-cloud (the painted cloth), carried out of sight by the wind of her own breath.

ambudāgamaḥ prāvṛṭ |
ambudāgamaḥ'the arrival of the cloud' (the phrase in the verse)अम्बुद अर्थात् मेघ का आगमन
ambuda-āgamaḥ — the cloud's arrival; prāvṛṭ — [means] the rainy season.
Jīva first fixes the literal layer: 'the cloud's arrival' means the onset of the rains. That sets up the whole monsoon imagery the metaphor will ride on.

vāsanto malayānilaḥthe spring wind is the malaya breezeवासन्त वायु मलयानिल (मलय-पवन) कहलाती है
A lexical verse classing the winds by season: vātula/vāta-gulma — whirlwind; caravāyu — hot-season wind; jhañjhānila — rain-season wind; vāsanta — the malaya (spring) breeze.
Jīva quotes the lexicon Trikāṇḍa-śeṣa, which sorts winds by season. The one he cares about: the jhañjhā-wind is specifically the wind of the rainy season.
Why cited: Lexical proof that jhañjhā-marut is by definition a rain-season wind (prāvṛṣija) — so the heroine's sighing, called a jhañjhā-marut in the verse, is being equated with the monsoon gale.

iti trikāṇḍa-śeṣa-dṛṣṭyā — so on the Trikāṇḍa-śeṣa's showing; śvāsaḥ eva — the sighing itself; jhañjhā-marut prāvṛṭ-vāyuḥ — is the jhañjhā-wind, the rain-season wind; dṛḍ-ambu-miśratvāt prabalatvāt ca — because it is water-laden and because it is strong.
So, Jīva says, going by that lexicon, her sighing is itself the monsoon storm-wind — on two counts: it comes mixed with heavy water (tears), and it is powerful. Both are marks of the rain-season gale, so the metaphor holds exactly.
dṛd-ambu- reads as dṛḍha-ambu, 'firm/heavy water' — the tears that accompany the sighs; this is why Jīva can call the breath 'water-mixed' like a rain-wind.

Jīva cashes out 'blown away': the wind of her sighing flipped the painted cloth over, so it was thrown far out of her sight. That is the literal mechanism behind the cloud-image — a gust turning a cloth.
Jīva keeps the metaphor answerable to fact: a real wind cannot move a cloud, but it can flip a hanging cloth — so apavāhita ('blown off') is honored literally on the painting, figuratively on the 'cloud'.

Viśvanātha spells the metaphor out term by term: the arriving 'cloud' is Śrī Kṛṣṇa's painted cloth; the 'cloud's arrival' is the onset of the rains; the longing cātaka is Lalitā; and the storm-wind is her sighing — a wind that cuts to the vital core.
marmākālīna-vāyunā is a difficult reading in the source; taken as marma- ('vital point, the tender core') + a wind touching it, hence 'a wind that pierces the vital core' — matching the intensity Jīva also stresses (prabalatva). The exact form is uncertain and worth checking against a better witness.
