urarīkṛta-kākur ākulā
urarīkṛta-kākuwho has taken up broken, plaintive cries (kāku) bahuvrīhi describing the sundarī (fem.); urarī-kṛta = has made her own, adoptedजिसने काकु (आवेग में टूटती-काँपती वाणी) को अपना लिया है — बहुव्रीहि, सुन्दरी का विशेषण
ākulādistraught, beside herselfव्याकुल, विह्वल
ākulā — distraught; urarīkṛta-kākuḥ — she who has taken up plaintive, faltering cries
urarīkṛta-kāku — जिसने काकु को अपना लिया, ऐसी; ākulā — व्याकुल (वह सुन्दरी)
A beautiful gopī, beside herself, breaks into plaintive, faltering cries. She has "taken up" the choked kāku — the catch in the voice of grief — as if it were now her own.
उसने काकु — आवेग में टूटती-काँपती वाणी — को अपना लिया है, और वह व्याकुल है।
A second udāharaṇa of krośana, 'crying out', the anubhāva just illustrated in 2.2.8; the lead-in 'yathā vā—' means 'or again, as in—'. kāku is the technical name for the broken, tremulous voicing of intense emotion.
यह क्रोशन (जोर से रो उठना) का दूसरा उदाहरण है — वही अनुभाव जो 2.2.8 में दिखाया गया; आरम्भ का 'यथा वा' कहता है 'अथवा फिर, जैसे इसमें—'। 'काकु' उस टूटी, काँपती वाणी का पारिभाषिक नाम है जो तीव्र भाव में निकलती है।

kararīva vraja-rāja-nanda |
kararī ivalike a kurarī (a female osprey/curlew), proverbial for its piercing, unceasing cries when parted from its mate iva = the simile marker; the printed text reads kararī, which Viśvanātha glosses as kurarīकररी (पक्षी) के समान — 'इव' उपमा का सूचक; छपे पाठ में 'कररी' है, जिसे विश्वनाथ 'कुररी' पढ़ते हैं
vraja-rāja-nandaO son of the king of Vraja (Kṛṣṇa) vocative; the poet turns and addresses Kṛṣṇa mid-descriptionहे व्रजराजनन्दन (कृष्ण) — सम्बोधन; कवि वर्णन के बीच में मुड़कर कृष्ण को पुकारता है
kurarī iva — like a female osprey; vraja-rāja-nanda — O son of the Vraja-king (Kṛṣṇa)
kararī iva — कररी के समान; vraja-rāja-nanda — हे व्रजराज के पुत्र (कृष्ण)
She cries like a kurarī — the osprey whose shrill wail never stops once it has lost its mate. The gopī is that bird; her wail of separation is its wail; and it is you, O son of the Vraja-king, who have left her so. The simile matches only the crying, not the bird's other traits.
हे व्रजराजनन्दन! वह कररी पक्षी के समान (रो रही है)।
kurarī (osprey / female curlew): a stock poetic image for a creature that cries ceaselessly in separation from its beloved.
कुररी (मछली पकड़ने वाला पक्षी / मादा टिटिहरी) — विरह में अपने प्रिय से बिछुड़कर निरन्तर रोने वाले प्राणी की एक रूढ़ काव्य-छवि।

muralī-taralī-kṛtāntarā
muralī-taralī-kṛtāntarāshe whose inmost core has been set trembling by the flute (muralī) bahuvrīhi; taralī-kṛta = made tremulous (cvi formation, made into what it was not); antara = inner beingजिसका अन्तःकरण मुरली के द्वारा काँपता (चंचल) बना दिया गया है — बहुव्रीहि; तरलीकृत = काँपता कर दिया गया, जो पहले न था वैसा बना दिया गया; अन्तर = भीतरी सत्ता
muralī-taralī-kṛtāntarā — she whose inner heart the flute has set quivering
muralī-taralī-kṛtāntarā — जिसका भीतर मुरली से काँपता बना दिया गया, ऐसी (सुन्दरी)
The sound of Kṛṣṇa's flute has reached inside her and set her whole inner being quivering. That is what tips her into the crying.
मुरली ने उसके अन्तःकरण को काँपता (चंचल) बना दिया है।
taralī-kṛta uses the cvi suffix (-ī with kṛ/bhū): it turns 'taralā' (tremulous) into a verb of becoming — 'made tremulous, made into what it was not.' Jīva insists on exactly this cvi reading (c1).

Here, this very day, the beautiful gopī cried out aloud again and again. The repeated wail (ākrośat) is the krośana itself — the outward crying that this verse is given to illustrate.
वह सुन्दरी यहाँ आज बार-बार जोर से रो उठी।
ākrośat (root krand/kruś) is the finite verb behind krośana, the anubhāva named in 2.2.8's lead-in and illustrated again here.
'आक्रोशत्' (क्रन्द्/क्रुश् धातु से) वह क्रियापद है जिससे 'क्रोशन' अनुभाव बना — वही अनुभाव जो 2.2.8 के आरम्भ में नामित हुआ और यहाँ फिर दिखाया गया।

taralī-kṛtāntarā itias for the phrase 'taralī-kṛtāntarā' iti flags the word being fixed'तरलीकृतान्तरा' — यह (शब्द); 'इति' उस शब्द को इंगित करता है जिसे स्थिर किया जा रहा है
cvi-pratyayānta eva pāṭhaḥthe reading is precisely the one ending in the cvi suffix eva = precisely, ruling out the rival readingच्वि-प्रत्यय में अन्त होने वाला ही पाठ है — 'एव' अर्थात् ठीक यही, प्रतिद्वन्द्वी पाठ को रोकते हुए
taralī-kṛtāntarā iti — regarding 'taralī-kṛtāntarā'; cvi-pratyaya-antaḥ eva pāṭhaḥ — the correct reading is precisely the cvi-ending one
taralī-kṛtāntarā iti — 'तरलीकृतान्तरा' यह पद; cvi-pratyayānta eva pāṭhaḥ — च्वि-प्रत्ययान्त ही पाठ है
Jīva fixes the text: read taralī-kṛta, the form built with the cvi suffix — 'made tremulous.' He rules out the rival spelling; the eva makes the choice exact.
'तरलीकृतान्तरा' का पाठ च्वि-प्रत्यय में अन्त होने वाला ही है (और कोई नहीं)।
This is a textual-critical note. The cvi suffix (-ī before kṛ/bhū) marks abhūta-tadbhāva, 'becoming what one was not' — so taralī-kṛta = 'made into a trembling thing.' Compare Mukunda's alternate wording, which the parser excludes here.
यह पाठ-निर्णय की टिप्पणी है। च्वि-प्रत्यय (कृ/भू के पहले -ई) अभूत-तद्भाव को चिह्नित करता है — 'जो न था वैसा हो जाना' — अतः तरलीकृत = 'काँपती वस्तु बना दिया गया।' मुकुन्द का भिन्न पाठ यहाँ पार्सर से बाहर रखा गया है।

kurarī iva urīkṛtā svīkṛtā kākur yayā tathābhūtā satī sundarī ākrośat ||
kurarī iva[read] kurarī, 'like a female osprey' Viśvanātha reads kurarī where the printed text has kararīकुररी के समान — विश्वनाथ छपे पाठ की 'कररी' के स्थान पर 'कुररी' पढ़ते हैं
urīkṛtā svīkṛtā'urīkṛtā' means 'made her own, adopted' he glosses urarīkṛta/urīkṛta with the plainer svīkṛtaउरीकृत अर्थात् स्वीकृत — वे उररीकृत/उरीकृत को सरल 'स्वीकृत' से समझाते हैं
kākuḥ yayāthe plaintive cry (kāku) by whom [was adopted] yayā = the relative that makes the compound a bahuvrīhi resolving onto sundarīजिसके द्वारा काकु (स्वीकार की गई) — 'यया' वह सम्बन्धवाची जो समास को बहुव्रीहि बनाकर सुन्दरी पर जोड़ता है

kurarī iva — like a female osprey; yayā kākuḥ urīkṛtā svīkṛtā — she by whom the plaintive cry was made her own; tathābhūtā satī sundarī — the beautiful woman, being of that description; ākrośat — cried out
kurarī iva — कुररी के समान; urīkṛtā svīkṛtā — उरीकृत अर्थात् स्वीकृत; kākuḥ yayā — जिसके द्वारा काकु; tathā-bhūtā satī — वैसी होकर; sundarī ākrośat — वह सुन्दरी रो उठी
Viśvanātha reads the bird as kurarī and unpacks the bahuvrīhi: the plaintive cry (kāku) is what she has 'adopted' (urīkṛtā = svīkṛtā, made her own). A woman of that description — the beautiful gopī — cried out. He is only resolving the compound and settling the words, not adding to the sense.
जिसने काकु को स्वीकार (अपना) लिया, वैसी हुई वह सुन्दरी कुररी के समान चीत्कार कर उठी।
Viśvanātha's reading kurarī (and urīkṛtā) differs from the printed kararī / urarīkṛtā; the decode reports both without harmonizing them.
विश्वनाथ का पाठ 'कुररी' (और 'उरीकृता') छपे 'कररी / उररीकृता' से भिन्न है; डिकोड दोनों को बिना मिलाए ज्यों-का-त्यों प्रस्तुत करता है।
