Jīva glosses two words. 'Nirvāṇa' here is not extinction but the highest bliss. And 'cool' means the smiles carry away every kind of burning distress.

nirvāṇaṁ paramānandaḥ sa eva rasaḥ, tasya pravāhaiḥ vikhaṇḍitāni nirastāni aśeṣa-rasāntarāṇi yais tāni |
nirvāṇaṁ paramānandaḥ'nirvāṇa' means the highest bliss'निर्वाण' का अर्थ परमानंद है
sa eva rasaḥand that very bliss is itself the rasa here (eva — precisely)वही रस है
tasya pravāhaiḥby the flows of that [rasa] instrumental of means; tasya = of the nirvāṇa-rasaउस (निर्वाण-रस) के प्रवाहों के द्वारा

aśeṣa-rasāntarāṇiall the other rasasसमस्त अन्य रस
yais tānithose [smiles] being the ones by which [the other rasas are cast out] resolves the bahuvrīhi of L4: yaiḥ refers to the smiles, tāni = smitāniजिन (मुसकानों) के द्वारा (यह हुआ), वे मुसकानें
nirvāṇam — [means] the highest bliss; saḥ eva rasaḥ — and that alone is the rasa; tasya pravāhaiḥ — by whose flows; aśeṣa-rasa-antarāṇi — all other rasas; vikhaṇḍitāni nirastāni — are shattered, cast out; yaiḥ tāni — those smiles being the ones by which [this happens].
Viśvanātha unpacks the compound. Nirvāṇa is the highest bliss, and that bliss is itself the rasa. By its unbroken streams every other rasa is smashed and swept away. So the verse's 'vikhaṇḍitāśeṣa-rasāntarāṇi' describes the smiles as the very things by which all rival rasas are driven out.

udvāntaḥ vamanena utpannaḥ'udvānta' means poured out — arising as if by an outpouring, a vomiting-forth'उद्वांत' अर्थात वमन से (उमड़कर) उत्पन्न हुआ
sudhārṇavo yebhyaḥ tānithe oceans of nectar that spill from them [the smiles] bahuvrīhi resolving L5: yebhyaḥ = from the smiles, tāni = smitāniजिन (मुसकानों) से अमृत के सागर (उमड़े), वे मुसकानें
śītāni tāpa-hārīṇicool — carrying off all distress'शीतल' अर्थात ताप को हरने वाली

yantraṇam vinā yat siddhyati tat ayantritam — what is accomplished without a device is 'unforced'; tat yathā syāt tathā — in just that unforced way; udvāntaḥ vamanena utpannaḥ — 'udvānta' [means] poured forth, produced by an outpouring; sudhā-arṇavaḥ yebhyaḥ tāni — from which [smiles] the oceans of nectar arise; śītāni tāpa-hārīṇi — cool, carrying off distress; smitāni jayanti — the smiles reign victorious.
He decodes the last two words. Ayantrita means what happens with no mechanism, effortlessly. Udvānta means poured out — as if the smiles gush nectar-oceans without being squeezed. Those oceans spill from the smiles on their own. And so the cool smiles, which take away all distress, stand supremely victorious.
