asthūlaś cāṇuś caiva sthūlo’ṇuś caiva sarvataḥ |
asthūlaḥ cahe is not gross — andऔर वह स्थूल नहीं है
aṇuḥ ca evayet minute too eva pins the paradox: the very same one is bothऔर अणु (सूक्ष्म) है ही — 'एव' शब्द इस विरोध को दृढ़ करता है कि एक ही (भगवान्) दोनों है
sthūlaḥ[and yet] gross(वही) स्थूल है
sarvataḥon every side, all at onceसब ओर से / सब प्रकार से
asthūlaḥ ca — he is not gross, and; aṇuḥ ca eva — minute too; sthūlaḥ — [yet] gross; aṇuḥ ca eva — and minute; sarvataḥ — on every side.
He is not gross — and yet minute; gross — and yet minute; and this from every side at once. The verse deliberately pairs opposites onto one and the same Lord.
Why cited: adduced from the Kūrma Purāṇa (lead-in tathā ca kaurme) as scriptural proof that mutually contradictory attributes rest together in the Lord.
The opening move of a Kūrma-Purāṇa passage cited to establish that opposite qualities co-inhere in bhagavān; the reconciliation is stated in L3 (aiśvarya-yogāt).

avarṇaḥ sarvataḥ proktaḥ — declared colorless in every respect; śyāmaḥ — [yet] dark-hued; rakta-anta-locanaḥ — with eyes red at the corners.
He is called colorless in every way — and yet he is dark-complexioned, with eyes reddened at the corners. Another pair of opposites: no color, yet a definite color and form.

aiśvarya-yogāt — because he is joined to lordly power; bhagavān — the Lord; viruddha-arthaḥ — as one bearing contradictory senses; abhidhīyate — is spoken of.
Because the Lord possesses aiśvarya, his own inconceivable lordly power, he can rightly be described in mutually contradictory terms. The power is the reason the opposites cause no problem.
Why cited: the pivot of the citation: it names aiśvarya as the ground on which the contradictory descriptions are legitimate.

Even though he is described by opposites, no fault may be fastened onto the Supreme — not in any way. The contradictions are not defects in him.

aiśvarya-yogād viruddho’rtho yatra tathābhūto bhagavān abhidhīyate |
aiśvarya-yogātbecause he is joined to lordly powerऐश्वर्य के योग के कारण
viruddhaḥ arthaḥ yatrain whom the contradictory sense holds Viśvanātha unfolds the mūla's bahuvrīhi viruddha-artha into a relative clauseजिसमें विरुद्ध अर्थ रहता है — विश्वनाथ मूल के 'विरुद्ध-अर्थ' बहुव्रीहि को खोलकर संबंधवाचक वाक्य बना देते हैं
tathā-bhūtaḥbeing such a oneवैसे स्वरूप वाला
bhagavān abhidhīyatethe Lord is spoken ofभगवान् (ऐसा) कहा जाता है
aiśvarya-yogāt — because of his lordly power; viruddhaḥ arthaḥ yatra — in whom the contradictory sense holds; tathā-bhūtaḥ bhagavān — the Lord, being such; abhidhīyate — is spoken of.
Viśvanātha unpacks the compound viruddha-artha: it means 'the one in whom a contradictory sense holds true'. So the line says that, on account of his aiśvarya, the Lord — being of that kind — is what is being described.

parame parameśvare doṣādoṣatve naivāhāryā vyākhyeyā ity arthaḥ ||
parame'in the Supreme' means: in parameśvara, the Supreme Lord'परम' अर्थात् परमेश्वर में
doṣa-adoṣatveas to whether [these traits] count as a fault or not locative dual — the point on which the ruling is givenदोष और अदोष होने के विषय में
na eva āhāryāḥthey are never to be fastened on [as faults]किसी प्रकार आरोपणीय नहीं हैं
vyākhyeyāḥ— this is how āhārya is to be explained(ऐसी) व्याख्या करनी चाहिए
iti arthaḥsuch is the meaningयह तात्पर्य है
parame — in parameśvara; doṣa-adoṣatve — on the question of fault or non-fault; na eva āhāryāḥ vyākhyeyāḥ — one should explain that they are never to be imputed; iti arthaḥ — such is the meaning.
Viśvanātha reads parame as parameśvara, the Supreme Lord. On the question of whether these contradictory traits are faults or not, he says: they are never to be imputed to him as faults — that, he explains, is what āhārya means here. So this is the settled sense of the line.
