This heads the second of the hero's excellences, sarva-sal-lakṣaṇānvitaḥ, 'endowed with all the auspicious marks' (from the lead-in).

The 'three' that are deep, in Viśvanātha's wording: the navel, the throat's voice, and the inner faculty. Where Jīva named navel, voice, and inner nature (sattva), Viśvanātha names navel, throat-voice, and antaḥkaraṇa — the same trio of a deep navel, a deep voice, and a deep inner being.
Read as three to match 'triṣu': nābhi, then kaṇṭha-svara ('the voice of the throat') as one, then antaḥkaraṇa. The two commentators' third-item wording differs (sattva vs. antaḥkaraṇa) — both point to depth of inner being.
