nāyakānāmof all the heroes (nāyakas) partitive genitive — "among all heroes"समस्त नायकों में से (जिनका वर्णन हुआ, उन सब नायकों के बीच)

nāyakānām — of all heroes; śiro-ratnam — the crest-jewel; kṛṣṇaḥ tu — and Kṛṣṇa indeed; bhagavān svayam — is the Bhagavān himself.

Of all the heroes, Kṛṣṇa is the crest-jewel. And he is not merely the best hero — he is the Bhagavān, God himself.
This verse defines the chief ālambana-vibhāva, the "support" on which the rasa rests. Here it names its object side (viṣaya-ālambana): Kṛṣṇa, the one toward whom the devotee's love is directed.
