akuṇṭha-whose (memory) is unblunted, never dulled first half of the compound completed in L2अकुण्ठ — अखण्डित, कभी न रुकने वाली (स्मृति; समास L2 में पूर्ण)
tri-bhuvana-vibhava-hetave api — even for the sake of one who would give the wealth of the three worlds; akuṇṭha- — (his memory stays) unblunted
tri-bhuvana-vibhava-hetave — तीनों लोकों के ऐश्वर्य के हेतु के लिए; api — भी; akuṇṭha — अकुण्ठ (आगे 'स्मृति' के साथ पूर्ण)
This praises the person whose remembrance of the Lord never dulls. Picture someone who could hand him the riches of all three worlds. Even facing that, his memory stays sharp and unbroken. The 'even' pushes the test to its limit.
तीनों लोकों के समस्त ऐश्वर्य के दाता के लिए भी — जिसकी अकुण्ठ (अखण्डित)…
Why cited: This is Bhāgavatam 11.2.53, quoted here to define the topmost Vaiṣṇava.
क्यों उद्धृत: यह श्रीमद्भागवत ११.२.५३ है, जिसे यहाँ सर्वोत्तम वैष्णव का लक्षण बताने के लिए उद्धृत किया गया है।

smṛtiḥ — स्मृति; ajita-ātma-sura-ādibhiḥ — असंयत-चित्त देवता आदि के द्वारा; vimṛgyāt — खोजे जाने योग्य (चरणों) से
His memory of the Lord is unfaltering. Now the verse turns to the Lord's feet. Even the gods keep searching for those feet, and they have not even mastered their own selves. So these are feet that great powers seek and do not easily reach.
…स्मृति उन (भगवान् के चरणों) से रहती है, जिन्हें असंयत-चित्त वाले देवता आदि भी खोजते रहते हैं।
Why cited: Continues Bhāgavatam 11.2.53; sets up that the Lord's feet are sought even by unconquered gods.
क्यों उद्धृत: भागवत ११.२.५३ का क्रम — यह दिखाता है कि भगवान् के चरण अजितेन्द्रिय देवताओं तक के द्वारा खोजे जाते हैं।

Jīva unpacks the dative 'hetave'. First take it plainly: not even for the wealth of the three worlds itself would he waver. And then, how much more so for the mere giver of that wealth. So the verse names the cause (the giver), and the point holds all the stronger. That is the sense.
अर्थात् — तीनों लोकों के ऐश्वर्य के लिए भी (जिसकी स्मृति अखण्डित रहे), फिर उस ऐश्वर्य के हेतु (दाता) के लिए तो कहना ही क्या।

Jīva answers a grammatical worry. 'Three worlds' is a dvandva, a compound listing several items, so you might expect a plural. But a grammatical rule allows any such compound to optionally count as one and take the singular. On that rule the singular form here is correct.
'प्रत्येक द्वन्द्व समास भी विकल्प से एकवचन के समान हो जाता है' — इस व्याकरण-नियम के अनुसार यहाँ एकवचन का प्रयोग हुआ है।
dvandva: a copulative compound (X-and-Y-and-Z). Grammar normally keeps the plural, but the cited rule lets it collapse to the singular — which is why 'tri-bhuvana-vibhava' can stand in the singular.

Viśvanātha heads off a misreading. Take the earlier Draupadī verse: it is simply what a perfected devotee said, not a rule of practice for us to perform. In the same way, this 'three worlds' verse defines the highest devotee, so it describes what such a perfected devotee naturally does. It is not a practice we are being told to take up. And yet the real lesson stands: only the perfected devotee is truly qualified for the moods of friendship and full self-surrender. Someone merely at the practice stage is not.
sādhana-rūpa vs anubhāva-rūpa: 'sādhana-rūpa' means a form of practice you deliberately perform to reach a goal; 'anubhāva-rūpa' means a spontaneous outward expression that flows from love already attained. Compare rowing hard to reach shore (sādhana) versus laughing because you are already happy (anubhāva). Viśvanātha says the verse pictures the second — the devotee's unwavering memory is the overflow of realized love, not a drill for beginners.

This is the promised verse (BRS 1.2.198). Because they are so hard, the two devotional relationships — friendship and self-surrender — are rare. Only a few steady, sober devotees ever gain the fitness even to practice them.
अत्यन्त दुष्कर होने के कारण सख्य और आत्मनिवेदन — ये दोनों दुर्लभ हैं; केवल कुछ ही धीर भक्तों के लिए ये साधन बनने की योग्यता पाते हैं।
Why cited: Cited to prove that only rare, advanced devotees are qualified for friendship and self-surrender — supporting that these two are not for the ordinary practitioner.
क्यों उद्धृत: यह सिद्ध करने के लिए उद्धृत कि सख्य और आत्मनिवेदन के अधिकारी केवल विरल, उन्नत भक्त हैं — ये दोनों साधारण साधक के लिए नहीं।

So here is the conclusion. Only a rare, special kind of practitioner — one who is practically the equal of a perfected devotee — is qualified for these two relationships. Not everyone qualifies. That is the point to grasp.

Viśvanātha dramatizes the phrase. Imagine a tempter saying: 'Just stop remembering the Lord for one moment, and I will hand you the wealth of all three worlds.' Even hearing that offer, the true devotee's memory does not falter for an instant. That, he says, is what 'unfaltering memory even toward the giver of the three worlds' wealth' means.
'त्रि-भुवन-विभव-हेतवे अपि अकुण्ठ-स्मृति' का अर्थ यह है — कोई (प्रलोभक) कहे, 'एक क्षण के लिए भगवान् की स्मृति छोड़ दो, तो तुम्हें तीनों लोकों का ऐश्वर्य दे दूँगा' — ऐसा सुनने पर भी जिसकी स्मृति तनिक भी नहीं रुकती।
