nṛtyatāṁ śrī-pater agre tālikā-vādanair bhṛśam |
nṛtyatāmof those who are dancing gen. pl. pres. participle, agreeing with the devoteesजब वे (भक्तगण) नाचते हैं
śrī-pater agrein front of the Lord of Śrī (Viṣṇu/Kṛṣṇa, the husband of Lakṣmī) gen.
tālikā-vādanaiḥby clapping their hands, with hand-claps instr. of meansतालियों के बजाने के द्वारा
bhṛśamhard, vigorously, a great deal adverbखूब, अत्यन्त
śrī-pater agre — before the Lord of Śrī; bhṛśam tālikā-vādanaiḥ — with vigorous hand-clapping; nṛtyatām — of those who dance (this sets up the next line's genitive).
This is the first of three verses Nārada speaks. Picture devotees dancing right in front of the Lord of Śrī. They dance hard, clapping their hands loudly. The line describes them; the main statement about them comes in the next line. "Lord of Śrī" means Viṣṇu / Kṛṣṇa, the husband of the goddess Lakṣmī (Śrī).
Why cited: Part of Nārada's testimony (verse 1) on the sin-destroying power of ecstatic worship of Kṛṣṇa.
śrī-pati: literally 'husband/master of Śrī (Lakṣmī)', a standard name for Viṣṇu/Kṛṣṇa; here it names the Lord before whom the devotees dance.

uḍḍīyante śarīra-sthāḥ sarve pātaka-pakṣiṇaḥ ||
uḍḍīyantefly up and away, take flight passive/middle present, 3rd pl.
śarīra-sthāḥthe ones lodged in the body, sitting inside the body nom. pl., describes the birdsशरीर में बसे हुए
sarveall of them, every one nom. pl.
pātaka-pakṣiṇaḥthe sin-birds — the sins pictured as birds nom. pl. subjectपाप रूपी पक्षी
śarīra-sthāḥ — lodged in the body; sarve pātaka-pakṣiṇaḥ — all the sin-birds; uḍḍīyante — fly away (of those dancing, from L1).
Now the payoff of the dancing. All the sins living inside the body are pictured as birds. When the devotee dances and claps before the Lord, every one of those sin-birds takes flight and is gone. The image is vivid: sins are birds perched in the body, and the ecstatic worship startles them all into flying off.
Why cited: Nārada's proof (verse 1) that dancing and clapping before the Lord drives every sin out of the body.
The metaphor pātaka-pakṣiṇaḥ ('sin-birds') is a dṛṣṭānta-style image: sins = birds nesting in the body; the dancing worship = what scatters them, so they 'fly away' and leave the person clean.

eko’pi kṛṣṇāya kṛtaḥ praṇāmo

kṛtaḥmade, performed, done past participle, nom. sg., agreeing with praṇāmaकिया गया
praṇāmaḥa bow, an act of prostration nom. sg. subjectप्रणाम
kṛṣṇāya kṛtaḥ ekaḥ api praṇāmaḥ — even a single bow made to Kṛṣṇa (subject of the next line).
The second verse begins. Even one single bow, offered to Kṛṣṇa. The word "even" stresses how little it takes: not many bows, just one. What that one bow outweighs is stated in the next line.
Why cited: Opens Nārada's second proof (verse 2): the immense worth of even one bow to Kṛṣṇa.

daśāśvamedhāvabhṛthair na tulyaḥ |
daśa-aśvamedha-avabhṛthaiḥwith the purificatory final baths of ten horse-sacrifices instr. of comparison ('equal to')दस अश्वमेध यज्ञों के अवभृथ स्नानों के (बराबर)
na tulyaḥis not equal, does not match up nom. sg.
ekaḥ api praṇāmaḥ (L3) — even one bow — daśa-aśvamedha-avabhṛthaiḥ — with the concluding baths of ten aśvamedha sacrifices — na tulyaḥ — is not equal.
Here is the comparison. Even that one bow to Kṛṣṇa is not equaled by the final sacred baths of ten horse-sacrifices. The avabhṛtha is the ritual bath that closes a Vedic sacrifice and washes away its impurities — the high point of its merit. Ten aśvamedhas, each with its purifying final bath, still do not match one bow to Kṛṣṇa. So the bow is worth more than ten of the greatest Vedic sacrifices.
Why cited: Nārada's proof (verse 2) that one bow to Kṛṣṇa outweighs the merit of ten horse-sacrifices.
avabhṛtha: the concluding ceremonial bath at the end of a Vedic sacrifice (aśvamedha, the horse-sacrifice, being the grandest); it marks the completion and purification of the rite. Here even ten such crowning baths are said to fall short of a single bow to Kṛṣṇa.

daśāśvamedhī punar eti janma
daśa-aśvamedhīthe man who has performed ten horse-sacrifices nom. sg. agent-noun, subjectदस अश्वमेध करने वाला
punaḥagain, once more adverbफिर से
eti janmacomes to birth, takes birth eti 'goes/comes to' + janma 'birth' (acc.)
daśa-aśvamedhī — the performer of ten aśvamedhas; punaḥ janma eti — comes to birth again.
Now the contrast is drawn out. The man who has performed ten horse-sacrifices comes back to birth again. All that ritual merit still leaves him inside the round of rebirth. It buys heaven, but not release; when the merit runs out, he is born once more.
Why cited: Nārada's proof (verse 2): even ten aśvamedhas do not free the doer from rebirth.

kṛṣṇa-praṇāmī na punar-bhavāya ||
kṛṣṇa-praṇāmīthe man who has bowed to Kṛṣṇa nom. sg. agent-noun, subjectकृष्ण को प्रणाम करने वाला
nanot, does not negationनहीं
punar-bhavāya[goes] toward rebirth, toward taking another birth dat. of goal/destinationपुनर्जन्म के लिए (नहीं होता)
kṛṣṇa-praṇāmī — the one who bowed to Kṛṣṇa; na punar-bhavāya — [does] not [go] toward rebirth.
And now the reversal that makes the point. The man who simply bowed to Kṛṣṇa does not head toward rebirth at all. Set the two side by side: ten horse-sacrifices leave you reborn, but one bow to Kṛṣṇa carries you past rebirth for good. The whole verse contrasts vast ritual with a single act of devotion, and devotion wins.
Why cited: Nārada's proof (verse 2) that a single bow to Kṛṣṇa ends rebirth, which even ten aśvamedhas cannot.
punar-bhava: literally 're-becoming', i.e. rebirth in saṁsāra; 'na punar-bhavāya' = he is not bound for another birth, he is released.

puraḥ — up ahead; yāna-ārūḍham samāyāntam janārdanam — Janārdana, mounted on his vehicle, coming near; prekṣya — having caught sight of (him) — leads into L8.
The third verse opens with a scene. A man catches sight of Janārdana up ahead, riding on his vehicle and coming toward him. Janārdana is Kṛṣṇa. "Mounted on his vehicle" and "coming near" both describe the Lord approaching. What the man then does is told in the next line.
Why cited: Opens Nārada's third proof (verse 3): the merit of rising to greet the approaching Lord.
Janārdana: a name of Kṛṣṇa/Viṣṇu, commonly explained as 'the one who rouses (ardana) people (jana)' — i.e. whom people petition, or who agitates the wicked; here simply naming the Lord who approaches.

pātayetwould cast down, makes fall away optative 3rd sg., the main verbगिरा देता है
sarva-kilbiṣamall his sin, every fault acc. sg., object of pātayetसमस्त पापों को
naraḥ — a man; abhyutthānam kurvan — while performing the rising-up (to greet the approaching Lord, from L7); sarva-kilbiṣam pātayet — would make all his sin fall away.
Here is the act and its reward. Seeing the Lord approach, the man rises up to greet him. Just by that standing-up in respect, he makes all his sin fall away. "Would" (the optative) states the rule: do this, and every fault drops off. The verse honors even the small courtesy of rising for the Lord as enough to shed all sin.
Why cited: Nārada's proof (verse 3) that even rising to greet the approaching Lord makes all one's sins fall away.
abhyutthāna: the customary courtesy of rising from one's seat to receive a superior or honored guest; offered here to the approaching Lord, it is credited with removing all sin.
