dharmārtha-kāma-mokṣeṣu necchā mama kadācana |
dharmārtha-kāma-mokṣeṣuin the four human goals — right living (dharma), wealth (artha), pleasure (kāma), and liberation (mokṣa) locative plural: 'in the case of…'
na icchāthere is no wish, no craving sandhi: na + icchāकोई इच्छा नहीं है
mamaof mine — I have none genitiveमेरी
kadācanaever, at any time whatsoeverकभी भी
mama — of mine; dharmārtha-kāma-mokṣeṣu — in dharma, artha, kāma, mokṣa; kadācana — at any time; na icchā — there is no desire.
I have no desire at all — not ever — for any of the four things people chase. Not for a righteous life (dharma), not for wealth (artha), not for pleasure (kāma), and not even for liberation (mokṣa). The speaker sets aside all four standard human goals in one breath.
Why cited: Scriptural proof that the pure devotee desires none of the four puruṣārthas — not even liberation.
dharma-artha-kāma-mokṣa: in the wider tradition these are the four puruṣārthas, the recognized aims of human life, with mokṣa as the highest. Here the devotee rejects all four, mokṣa included — signaling that pure devotion wants something none of these four names.

tvat-pāda-pañkajasyādho jīvitaṁ dīyataṁ mama ||
tvat-pāda-paṅkajasyaof your lotus feet — the feet like a lotus genitive; tvat- 'your'आपके चरण-कमल के
adhaḥbelow, at the base — down at their shelter sandhi: paṅkajasya + adhaḥनीचे
jīvitammy living, my very life accusative, the thing to be givenजीवन (जो देने योग्य वस्तु है)
dīyatāmlet it be granted, let it be placed passive imperative: 'may it be given'दे दिया जाए
mamamine — this life of mine genitiveमेरा
mama — my; jīvitam — life; tvat-pāda-paṅkajasya adhaḥ — beneath your lotus feet; dīyatām — let it be given.
Instead, here is my one prayer. Let my whole life be set down at the base of your lotus feet. 'Let it be given' is a request — place my living there, in their shelter, and let it stay.
Why cited: Shows the devotee's single positive aim: to live entirely at the Lord's feet, in place of the four goals just refused.

mokṣa-sālokya-sārūpyān prārthaye na dharādhara |
mokṣa-sālokya-sārūpyānliberation, and living on the Lord's own world (sālokya), and having a form like the Lord's (sārūpya) accusative plural — the objects prayed forमोक्ष, सालोक्य और सारूप्य — इनको
prārthaye naI do not pray for, I make no request for 1st sg. presentमैं नहीं माँगता
dharādharaO Bearer of the Earth (an address to the Lord who upholds the world) vocativeहे धराधर (पृथ्वी को धारण करने वाले)
dharādhara — O Bearer of the Earth; mokṣa-sālokya-sārūpyān — liberation, sālokya, sārūpya; na prārthaye — I do not pray for.
O Bearer of the Earth, I am not even asking for the rewards a devotee might expect. Not liberation (mokṣa). Not sālokya — to dwell in your own realm. Not sārūpya — to be given a form like yours. I pray for none of these.
Why cited: Reinforces the refusal of mokṣa by naming even its intimate, devotee-facing forms (sālokya, sārūpya) as unwanted.
sālokya and sārūpya name two of the classic types of mukti (liberation) in the tradition: sālokya, sharing the Lord's world/planet, and sārūpya, receiving a form resembling the Lord's. Even these intimate-sounding rewards the devotee here declines.

tavayours — belonging to you genitiveआपकी
suvrataO one true to his vows, O steadfast one vocativeहे सुव्रत
mahābhāga — O greatly blessed one; suvrata — O steadfast one; tava kāruṇyam — your compassion; hi icchāmi — this alone I do desire.
O greatly blessed Lord, O steadfast keeper of vows — there is one thing, and only one, that I do want. I want your compassion. The 'hi' underlines it: after refusing everything else, this is the single thing the devotee asks for — the Lord's own mercy, nothing besides.
Why cited: The positive climax of the quotation: the devotee wants only the Lord's compassion — the point for which BRS adduces these verses.

jīvitaṁ jīvanam—tathā ca taṁ vinā mama jīvanam eva māstu ity arthaḥ ||
jīvitamthe word 'jīvitam' (life) in the verse the lemma being explained'जीवितम्' पद (जिसे समझाया जा रहा है)
jīvanammeans simply 'living, being alive' — he swaps in the plainer synonym gloss: X = Yअर्थात जीवन
tathā caand so, drawing out what that implies connective: 'and thus'और इस प्रकार
taṁ vināwithout him — apart from the Lord vinā governs the accusative taṁउनके बिना
mama jīvanam eva mā astulet there be no living for me at all — let me simply not be alive mā + astu, prohibitive; eva 'at all'मेरा जीवन ही न रहे
iti arthaḥthat is the meaning of the line closing formulaऐसा अर्थ है
jīvitam — the word 'life'; jīvanam — means 'living'; tathā ca — and so; taṁ vinā — without him; mama jīvanam eva mā astu — may there be no life for me at all; iti arthaḥ — this is the sense.
Viśvanātha explains the word 'jīvitam' (life) as plain 'jīvanam' — being alive. Then he draws out the force of the prayer: without the Lord, let me have no life at all. In other words, the devotee is saying he would rather not live at all than live apart from the Lord. That, Viśvanātha says, is the meaning of the line.
