Rādhā speaks to her friend: O restless-eyed one — for all this while, fear of my elders keeps flashing up inside me.
An udāharaṇa of sandarśana, 'the direct seeing [of the beloved]' — the sub-variety introduced just before the verse (tatra sandarśanam); from Lalita-mādhava 2.26, where — as Viśvanātha marks below — Rādhā says it to her friend Kundalatā.

saṁkṣipta-ādi = the kinds of sambhoga sorted earlier in the chapter — saṁkṣipta, saṅkīrṇa, sampanna, samṛddhimān. Viśvanātha files these finer types (sandarśana etc.) under sambhoga, not under vipralambha (separation).

rater ity upalakṣaṇaṁ premādīnām api |
rateḥ itithe word 'rati' [in the definition] 'iti' quotes the lemma being glossed'रतेः' यह (जो मूल पद उद्धृत है)
upalakṣaṇamis a pointer-mark that stands beyond itselfउपलक्षण (मात्र संकेत) है
premādīnām apifor prema and the higher grades too api = 'as well', extending the reference past ratiप्रेम आदि का भी (ग्रहण कराता है)
rateḥ iti — the word 'rati'; premādīnām api — of prema and the rest as well; upalakṣaṇam — is an indicating mark.
Where the text said 'rati,' that word is an upalakṣaṇa — a pointer standing not only for rati but for prema and the higher grades of love above it as well.
upalakṣaṇa vs viśeṣaṇa: a viśeṣaṇa names an essential trait ('the blue lotus' — blue is part of what it is); an upalakṣaṇa is only a pointer that also sweeps others in ('the house with the crow on it' — the crow merely helps you find it, and other houses count too). Here 'rati' is that crow-marker: it flags rati but carries prema, sneha, and the rest along with it.
