udañcad-vaktrāmbhoruha-vikṛtiḥ — her upraised face-lotus is disfigured, withered and pale; antaḥ-kaluṣitā — and inwardly troubled.
Her lifted face is a lotus that has lost its bloom — withered and pale — and within she is troubled. Read of the little stream: its upturned lotuses wilt and its water runs muddy. Every word here carries both senses at once.
An udāharaṇa of tānavam (emaciation, the body's wasting-thin in vipralambha, love-in-separation) — the state announced by the lead-in 'atha tānavam, yathā'. Uddhava speaks it to Kṛṣṇa, so Viśvanātha. The whole verse is a sustained śleṣa comparing Rādhā to a kulyā, a little stream drying up in summer.

Her breasts are a pair of cakravāka birds, and because she never eats they have faded, O Lord of the Yadus. Read the other way, the word is hāra, a pearl necklace: she is always without it. For the stream, its cakravākas droop.

Like a little stream in the hot season, she shows thinness carried to its very peak. The simile drives the whole verse: Rādhā wasting in viraha is the channel drying up in summer, matched word for word.
