hantaalas hanta here is an exclamation of grief, not surpriseहाय!
karavaido karavai is the 1st-sg. let-mood (subjunctive): 'shall I do'करूँ (उत्तम पुरुष एकवचन, विधि रूप — 'मैं क्या करूँ')
mano me — my mind; jvalati — is on fire; hā kaṣṭaṁ — oh, the agony; kim — what; hanta — alas; ahaṁ karavai — shall I do.
My mind is on fire — oh, the agony! What on earth, alas, shall I do?
An udāharaṇa (illustrative verse) of udvega — the agitated, restless distress of viraha (separation) — quoted from the Haṁsadūta (104). Spoken by Śrī Rādhā to her friend Lalitā (so Viśvanātha).

Viśvanātha unpacks the same verb: parāmṛśye means 'I become touched.' The 'ocean' of the verse is nothing but her own great torment; and what would 'touch' her across it is one speck of steadiness — read grammatically as the very agent that does the touching.

A running word-gloss. It frames the scene — after Kṛṣṇa had left for Mathurā, Rādhā, her mind reeling under the burning grief of separation, speaks piteously to Lalitā, who is trying to console her — then decodes each word: 'hā' marks despair, 'jvalati' is 'is burnt,' 'hanta' marks grief, pāra and avāra are the far and near banks, the 'ocean' is the sea of separation's torment, 'vande' is 'I bow,' the 'remedy' is whatever would still this pain, and 'sapadi' — 'this instant' — is where udvega reaches its very peak. A grammarian's aside derives kṣaṇikā by the affix ṭhañ, and 'parāmṛśye' comes out as 'I become touched' by even a fragment of steadiness.
kālāṭṭhañ / śaiṣikārtha (Pāṇini 4.3.11): a technical derivation accounting for the form kṣaṇikā from kṣaṇa ('moment') — a grammarian's justification of the word, not part of the emotional sense.

gāḍha-udvegaṁ hṛdayaṁ dalati — the heart cracks with deep agitation; dvidhā na tu bhidyate — but does not break in two; vikalaḥ kāyaḥ mūrcchāṁ vahati — the wracked body bears a swoon; cetanām na muñcati — yet keeps consciousness; antardāhaḥ tanūm jvalayati — inner fire burns the body; bhasmasāt na karoti — but not to ash; marma-cchedī vidhiḥ praharati — vital-cutting fate strikes; jīvitam na kṛntati — yet does not sever life.
My heart cracks with deep agitation — but will not break in two. My wracked body swoons — but will not let go of consciousness. Inner fire scorches me — but will not burn me to ash. Fate strikes at my vital core — but will not cut the thread of life. Every torment goes to the edge and is denied the mercy of ending.
Why cited: A textbook illustration of udvega: each line grants a torment, then denies its release — the word gāḍha-udvega stated outright.

iyaṁ yataḥ — since she; na paśyati na bhāṣate na ca sṛṇoti na spandate — does not see, speak, hear, or stir; nimīlati vighūrṇate patati mūrchati — shuts her eyes, reels, falls, swoons; tad etad anumīyate — from all this it is inferred; kim api — something indescribable; rādhikāṁ bādhate — afflicts Rādhikā; mukunda-viraha-vyathā-viṣa-visarpa-visphūrjitam — the erupting spread of the poison of separation-pain from Mukunda.

She does not see, does not speak, does not hear, does not stir; she shuts her eyes, reels, falls, swoons. From all these signs one thing is inferred: some nameless force is afflicting Rādhikā — the spreading, erupting poison of separation from Mukunda.
Why cited: Adduced as an inference-verse (anumāna): the outward symptoms let onlookers infer the inner viraha-poison — udvega read off its own signs.
