jāgarodvegausleeplessness and restless agitation dual — the second and third, taken as a pairजागरण और उद्वेग (ये दोनों साथ — नींद का न आना और भीतर की बेचैनी)
cintā — anxiety; atra — here (in love-in-separation); jāgarodvegau — sleeplessness and agitation; tānavam — wasting thin; malināṅgatā — grimy, unkempt limbs.
The stages begin. First anxiety. Then, here in the state of separation, sleeplessness and restless agitation. Then the body wastes thin, and the limbs are left grimy and uncared-for.
This verse enumerates the daśa daśā — the ten mounting conditions of vipralambha (love-in-separation): cintā through mṛtyu. It is a lakṣaṇa (definition) verse, not an illustration. The next atom (Viśvanātha) assigns these ten specifically to the pravāsa sub-type.

pralāpo — raving; vyādhir — sickness; unmādo — madness; moho — stupor; mṛtyur — death; daśā daśa — these ten are the states.
Then delirious raving, then sickness, then madness, then a fainting stupor — and last, death. Ten stages in all.

na vyākhyātam — [this verse is] not commented on.
Jīva writes only: 'Not commented on.' He passes over the verse without a gloss.
A meta-remark, not a gloss: Jīva declines to explain the verse, leaving its plain enumeration to stand on its own.

atra pravāsākhya-vipralambhe ||167|| (153)
atrahere — that is, where the verse said 'here' supplying the referent of the mūla's atraयहाँ (मूल के 'अत्र' का आशय बताते हुए)
pravāsākhya-vipralambhein the love-in-separation called pravāsa, the parting caused by being away locative — the setting in which these ten stages ariseप्रवास नामक विप्रलम्भ में (जिस दशा में ये दस अवस्थाएँ उठती हैं)
atra — here; pravāsākhya-vipralambhe — in the vipralambha named pravāsa (separation by being away).
Viśvanātha pins down the verse's 'here': these ten stages belong to the pravāsa kind of vipralambha — the separation caused by the lover being away, abroad.
pravāsa is one sub-type of vipralambha (love-in-separation), the parting by distance or absence; it is set apart from pūrva-rāga (longing before union) and māna (the sulking estrangement).
