An udāharaṇa of bhavan (present, ongoing) pravāsa — separation caused by the beloved going abroad, caught in the very act of departure — quoted from Lalita-mādhava 3.7. It follows the bhāvī (about-to-happen) pravāsa illustrated just before; here the leaving is happening now, at dawn, as the chariot is boarded.

Burst on your own now, O heart — before these very horses become the ones that shatter you, carrying him off.
The sound-play carries the pathos: she orders the heart to sphuṭa (burst) so the ghoṭakāḥ (horses) do not become its sphoṭakāḥ (shatterers) — sphuṭa / sphoṭaka / ghoṭaka echo each other. Better a self-willed bursting now than to be split by them when they bear him away.

Jīva glosses one word: prastha here means sānu, a mountain's ridge — so 'udaya-prastha' is the ridge of the eastern mountain.

iti anvayaḥ— this is how the words join up (the prose order)ऐसा अन्वय है
he hṛdaya, tāvat tūrṇaṁ sphuṭa iti — the phrase 'O heart, by then quickly burst'; anvayaḥ — is the construction.
Jīva fixes the word-order across the scattered lines: read it as 'O heart, quickly burst by then.' The vocative and imperative of L3–L4 belong together.

śyāmā — Śyāmā; vilapati — laments; bhānoḥ iti — in the verse 'bhānoḥ…'.
Viśvanātha sets the scene: it is Śyāmā who is lamenting here, in the verse that begins bhānoḥ.
Viśvanātha alone (among the included commentators) names the grieving speaker as Śyāmā; the mūla itself leaves her unnamed.

Viśvanātha glosses the same two words: udaya-prastha is the ridge of the rising mountain, and yātrā-nāndī is the traveler's auspicious send-off recital.
Viśvanātha and Jīva agree on both glosses (prastha = ridge; yātrā-nāndī = the send-off benediction), differing only in wording — 'tatratya' (Jīva) vs. 'yātrika' (Viśvanātha) for whose/what recital it is.

vāstavas tu prāṇa-priyaṁ vraje virājantam eva dṛṣṭvā mriyasva, na tu vrajād gacchantam iti bhāvaḥ ||
vāstavaḥ tubut the real, deeper sense is tu turns from the surface consolation (s8) to the true importवास्तविक अर्थ तो यह है — 'तु' सतही सान्त्वना (s8) से मुड़कर असली तात्पर्य की ओर
prāṇa-priyaṁ vraje virājantam eva dṛṣṭvā mriyasvadie only after seeing your life's-beloved still present, radiant, here in Vraja eva = 'still / only' — while he is yet hereप्राणप्रिय को व्रज में विराजमान (अभी यहीं) देखकर ही मर जा — 'एव' अर्थात् 'अभी/जब तक वह यहाँ है'
na tu vrajād gacchantamnot while he is going away from Vraja tu marks the sharp contrast — not that sightव्रज से जाते हुए को (देखकर) नहीं — 'तु' तीखे विरोध का सूचक, वह दृश्य नहीं
iti bhāvaḥ— this is the true intentऐसा भाव है
vāstavaḥ tu — but the true sense; prāṇa-priyaṁ — the life's-beloved; vraje virājantam eva dṛṣṭvā — seeing him still present in Vraja; mriyasva — die; na tu vrajāt gacchantam — not [seeing] him departing from Vraja; iti bhāvaḥ — is the real purport.
Then Viśvanātha turns to the deeper reading. What the heart truly cries is: let me die while I can still see my beloved present here in Vraja — not with the sight of him leaving Vraja before my eyes.
Two layers stand side by side; do not collapse them. The surface consolation (s8) is 'burst now rather than be crushed by the hooves.' The vāstava (true) intent (s9) is 'let me die beholding him here, not departing' — dread of the parting sight, not of the hooves, is the real grief.
