Those nights, every single one of them, were spent in the company of the dearmost.
An udāharaṇa of kṣaṇa-kalpatā, 'a moment stretching into an aeon' — the state named in the verse's header (Bhāgavata 11.12.11), where in separation a moment feels endless. Viśvanātha will add that the verse also shows its opposite, kalpa-kṣaṇatā.

mayaiva vṛndāvana-gocareṇa |

mayā eva — by me myself; vṛndāvana-gocareṇa — present within their reach in Vṛndāvana; [nītāḥ] — [the nights were] spent
And it was I myself, there in Vṛndāvana within their sight and reach, with whom they spent them.

yathā śrutā tathā jñeyāis to be understood exactly as scripture states it, taken at its wordजैसा सुना गया है वैसा ही जानना चाहिए
na tu bhakta-antareṣu api āvirbhāva-mātramand not reduced to a mere appearance, the sort granted even to other devotees na tu = but not; api = 'even' — sweeps in the ordinary devotee to contrastपरन्तु अन्य भक्तों में होने वाले साधारण आविर्भाव-मात्र जैसा नहीं
kṛṣṇa-āvirbhāva-kāritā — the way Kṛṣṇa is made to appear [to the gopīs], as in 'gopyas tapaḥ kim acarat', 'tāsām āvirabhūc chauriḥ', 'tatrātiśuśubhe tābhiḥ' and the like; yathā śrutā tathā jñeyā — is to be known just as it is heard; na tu ... āvirbhāva-mātram — not as a mere manifestation such as even other devotees receive
Jīva fixes how to read Kṛṣṇa's coming to the gopīs. Take the scriptural lines at their word — 'what austerity did the gopīs perform?', 'Śauri appeared before them', 'there he shone surpassingly in their midst'. His presence with them is real and full, exactly as heard. Do not water it down to the mere 'manifestation' that even other devotees are granted.

Viśvanātha sets it up: here it is Kṛṣṇa himself who speaks, in the very same vein as the verse before — the verse 'tās tāḥ...'.

asmin eva padye — in this very verse; kṣaṇa-kalpatā — a moment-become-aeon (of separation); kalpa-kṣaṇate — and an aeon-become-moment (of union); draṣṭavye — are both to be observed

Viśvanātha points out that this single verse shows both movements at once. In separation one moment swells into an aeon — kṣaṇa-kalpatā. In union a whole aeon collapses into a moment — kalpa-kṣaṇatā. The nights of union felt like half a moment; the nights now, without Kṛṣṇa, feel like a kalpa.
The compound pairs by position (yathāsaṅkhya): kṣaṇa-kalpatā goes with viyoga — in separation a single moment feels as long as a kalpa; kalpa-kṣaṇatā goes with saṁyoga — in union a whole aeon passes like an instant. One verse, both directions of love's time-sense.
