citraṁ cira-sparśa-sukhāya cūcuke
citraṁa painted design accusative: the thing Kṛṣṇa is drawingचित्र को (जिसे कृष्ण बना रहे हैं)
cira-sparśa-sukhāyaso as to draw out the pleasure of a long touch dative of purpose: cira 'long' + sparśa 'touch' — his real aimदेर तक स्पर्श के सुख के लिए (यही असली मंशा)
cūcukeon the very tip of her breast locative: where he is drawingचूचुक (स्तनाग्र) पर
cūcuke citraṁ — a painted design on the tip of her breast; cira-sparśa-sukhāya — for the sake of the pleasure of a lingering touch.
The verse opens on Kṛṣṇa painting a decorative design (citra) on the very tip of Rādhā's breast. And he is stretching it out — the real aim is the pleasure of touching her a long while.
This is an udāharaṇa (illustrative verse), set up by the lead-in 'yathā vā' ('or again, as here'). Per Viśvanātha it illustrates that Rādhā's śuddha-madhu-sneha (pure honey-love) stays pure honey even in māna: the portion of dākṣiṇya (tender compliance) she keeps up while sulking turns crooked but never loses its honey and never carries a 'scent of ghee.' The chapter's technical distinction is madhu-sneha, 'honey-love' — like honey it is sweet through and through, its sweetness its own (Rādhā's camp) — versus ghṛta-sneha, 'ghee-love' — like clarified butter, rich but grave, leaning toward awe (Candrāvalī's camp).

kurvantam akṣipram iyaṁ calekṣaṇā |
kurvantamhim as he was making it accusative present participle agreeing with keśavam (L4): Kṛṣṇa 'doing' the design(चित्र) बनाते हुए (कृष्ण को)
akṣipramand doing it slowly a-kṣipram, 'not fast'; adverb — the dawdling that provokes herधीरे-धीरे (जल्दी नहीं)—यही उसे चिढ़ाता है

iyaṁ calekṣaṇā — this restless-eyed woman; kurvantam akṣipram — [saw] him making it slowly.
He works slowly — akṣipram, 'un-quickly' — dawdling on purpose to prolong the touch. And she is 'the restless-eyed one' (calekṣaṇā): her eyes are already darting. The sulk is starting.

svinnāṅgulīkaṁ pulakāñcita-śriyā
svinnāṅgulīkaṁhim, his fingers now damp with sweat accusative agreeing with keśavam: svinna 'sweating' + aṅgulīka 'fingers' — his absorbed care over the drawingजिसकी उँगलियाँ (तल्लीनता से) पसीने में भीगी हैं, ऐसे (कृष्ण को)
pulakāñcita-śriyāwith a beauty made lovely by rising thrill-bumps instrumental, going with kucena (L4): pulaka 'horripilation' + añcita 'adorned'रोमांच से सुशोभित शोभावाले (स्तन के द्वारा)
svinnāṅgulīkaṁ [keśavam] — Keśava, his fingers now damp with sweat; pulakāñcita-śriyā [kucena] — with [her breast], lovely with erupting horripilation.
His fingertips are damp with sweat — he is lost in the careful work. And her breast, the one about to do the pushing, is beautiful with pulaka, the thrill-bumps of erotic delight standing up on the skin. That detail is the whole point: even as she moves to reject him, her body is thrilling with love.

savyena cikṣepa kucena keśavam ||
savyena kucenawith her left breast instrumental of means: savya 'left'बाएँ स्तन के द्वारा
cikṣepashe flung him off perfect of √kṣip — the main verb of the verseधक्का दे दिया / ठेल दिया
keśavamKeśava (Kṛṣṇa)केशव को
iyaṁ calekṣaṇā — this restless-eyed woman; savyena kucena keśavam cikṣepa — flung Keśava off with her left breast.
The main verb lands: she shoved Keśava away — and with her left breast. Not a hand, not a word: a push of the very breast he was painting, the one standing up in thrill-bumps. The gesture is crooked (she pushes him off) and honeyed (the pushing limb is thrilled with love) in one stroke — exactly the point the commentary will draw out.

śuddha-madhu-snehavatyāḥ śrī-rādhāyā māne — in the māna of Śrī Rādhā, who has pure honey-love; kadācit svīkṛto'pi dākṣiṇyāṁśaḥ — even the dākṣiṇya-portion she sometimes keeps; kuṭilībhavan-madhu-maya eva na tu ghṛta-gandha-vyañjī bhavati — turns crooked yet stays pure honey, never taking on a scent of ghee; iti punaḥ darśayitum āha yathā vā iti — to show this once more he says 'yathā vā.'
Viśvanātha sets the verse up. Rādhā has śuddha-madhu-sneha — pure honey-love, unmixed. Now, in māna (a lover's sulk) the tender compliance called dākṣiṇya is normally withheld. But sometimes a portion of it is kept up even while she sulks. Viśvanātha's claim: in Rādhā even that retained portion only turns crooked — it never stops being honey, and it never takes on the 'smell of ghee.' To show this once more, Rūpa gives the verse, introduced by 'yathā vā,' 'or again, as here.'
The distinction turns on two kinds of sneha (love thickened to a melting tenderness): madhu-sneha, 'honey-love,' which like honey is sweet through and through and self-sweet (Rādhā's camp); and ghṛta-sneha, 'ghee-love,' which like clarified butter is rich but grave, leaning toward reverence and awe (Candrāvalī's camp). 'A whiff of ghee' means any trace of that grave, reverential note creeping in. Viśvanātha's point: Rādhā's love, even soured into a sulk, has none.

Viśvanātha fixes the frame: the verse is Rūpa-mañjarī speaking to Rati-mañjarī — one maidservant reporting to another what she saw. And the 'citra' Kṛṣṇa paints is a patra-āvalī: a decorative leaf-and-vine pattern drawn on the skin, the cosmetic body-art of the pastime.

Why the word 'slowly' (akṣipram)? Viśvanātha: it is the trigger of her sulk. He dawdles over the painting to keep touching her — and that deliberate slowness is exactly what provokes her māna.

This is why her eyes are darting. The worry is: 'What if someone comes along and sees us?' Out of that anxiety she shoves Kṛṣṇa away with her breast, and the push makes him move off. So 'restless-eyed' is not only the sulk — it is also her glancing about, afraid of being caught.

Now the payoff, in steps. (1) Why the left breast? Because a woman's left side is the stronger — a naturalist's touch. (2) Is this real anger? No: there is no telltale twist of brow or eye that betrays roṣa (rage). So the gesture actually shows dākṣiṇya, tender compliance. (3) But she does shove him. Grant it: the breast-push shows prāgalbhya (bold forwardness) — yet still no crookedness of heart. (4) And the shove even 'speaks': it hints a teasing taunt — 'You, who can't paint and are only good at making eyes, you won't paint my breasts; my own maids will do that.' (5) So all the shove lights up is atyanādara, sheer playful disregard. Because ghṛta-sneha (grave, reverential ghee-love) has no opening here at all, and only śuddha-madhu-sneha (pure honey-love) is flowing, therefore in this māna even the dākṣiṇya-portion is made of nothing but pure honey — and is to be savored to the utmost. That, Viśvanātha concludes, is what one should discern.
