asyās tvad-vadane saroja-suhṛdi vyaktiṁ purastād gate
asyāḥof this girl — Śyāmā's; her (reaching ahead to her mind-butter below) genitive, construing forward with mano-haiyaṅgavīnaṁ in L2इसका (इस श्यामा का) — यह षष्ठी आगे L2 के मन-रूपी नवनीत से जुड़ती है
tvad-vadanewhen your face (Kṛṣṇa's) — locative, heading the absolute construction with vyaktiṁ gateजब तेरा मुख — यह सप्तमी सति-सप्तमी का शीर्ष है
saroja-suhṛdiwhich befriends the lotus — plainly, lotus-like; and by śleṣa, the sun (the lotus's true friend) locative agreeing with tvad-vadane; śleṣa: kamala-tulya 'lotus-like' / sūrya 'sun'जो सरोज (कमल) का सुहृद् है — श्लेष से 'कमल के समान' अथवा 'सूर्य'; तेरे मुख का ही विशेषण
vyaktiṁ purastād gateonce it came into view right in front of her locative absolute; purastāt = before her, to her faceइसके सामने प्रकट हो जाने पर — यह सति-सप्तमी पूरी होती है
tvad-vadane saroja-suhṛdi — your face, the lotus's friend (lotus-like / the sun); purastāt vyaktiṁ gate — when it appeared right before her; asyāḥ — of her, Śyāmā's …
When your face — lotus-like, and by the pun the very sun — came into full view right before Śyāmā, this happened to her.
An udāharaṇa (illustrative verse) for viloka, 'the mutual glance,' introduced by the lead-in 'viloke, yathā—.' Spoken, as Viśvanātha states, by Śyāmā's friend Bakula-mālā to Śrī Kṛṣṇa. The whole verse turns on a śleṣa: saroja-suhṛt = 'lotus-like' / 'the sun,' and acala = 'motionless' / 'a mountain.'

na āścaryaṁit would be no wonderकोई आश्चर्य नहीं
dravatām avindatathat it reached a melting — turned to liquid avindata, imperfect of ā-√vid, 'attained, came to'द्रवता को (पिघलने की दशा को) प्राप्त हो गया — 'अविन्दत' आ-√विद् का लङ्, 'प्राप्त हुआ'
mano-haiyaṅgavīnaṁthe fresh butter of her mind haiyaṅgavīna = fresh butterमन-रूपी ताजा नवनीत — हैयंगवीन अर्थात् ताजा मक्खन
yadiifयदि
yadi asyāḥ mano-haiyaṅgavīnaṁ dravatām avindata — if the fresh butter of her mind reached a melting; na āścaryaṁ — that is no wonder.
It would be no wonder if the fresh butter of her mind simply melted away. Butter melts before the sun — so her mind melting before your sun-face needs no explaining.
haiyaṅgavīna — fresh butter; the word is built on 'hyo-go-duh,' yesterday's cow's milking, hence butter freshly churned. Kept in IAST because the melting-butter-before-the-sun image is the whole point.

But your heart, a moonstone, first melted into water — and then, marvel of marvels, went rigid and still (by the pun, became a mountain). A moonstone should stay liquid once the moon melts it; that yours froze after melting is the wonder.

tenaby this [wonder — the freezing after melting]इससे
śyāmā-śrī-kṛṣṇayoḥ snehāṁśena tulyatve apieven though Śyāmā and Kṛṣṇa match in their share of affection api = even though; snehāṁśena, instrumental — 'in respect of the portion of sneha'श्यामा और श्रीकृष्ण के स्नेह-अंश में समान होने पर भी — 'अपि' अर्थात् यद्यपि; 'स्नेहांशेन' तृतीया, स्नेह के अंश की दृष्टि से
stambha-bhāvādhikyātbecause his stambha (the stunned, paralyzed state) runs greater ablative of cause; stambha = a sāttvika-bhāvaस्तम्भ-भाव की अधिकता के कारण — यह हेतु-पंचमी; स्तम्भ एक सात्त्विक-भाव है
śrī-kṛṣṇasya adhikyaṁKṛṣṇa comes out the greaterश्रीकृष्ण की अधिकता (सिद्ध होती है)
tataḥ ca śyāmāyāḥ saubhāgya-adhikyamand from that, Śyāmā's good fortune is the greater tataḥ ca = and thereforeऔर इससे श्यामा के सौभाग्य की अधिकता — 'ततश्च' अर्थात् और इसीलिए
tena — by this; snehāṁśena tulyatve api — though equal in the share of affection; stambha-bhāva-ādhikyāt — because his stambha is greater; śrī-kṛṣṇasya adhikyaṁ — Kṛṣṇa is the greater; tataḥ ca śyāmāyāḥ saubhāgya-adhikyam — and hence Śyāmā's good fortune is the greater.
Viśvanātha draws the point. Śyāmā and Kṛṣṇa are equal in their measure of sneha. But because Kṛṣṇa's stambha — the stunned, frozen state — runs deeper (his moonstone-heart went rigid, not just soft), his love shows itself the greater. And since so great a lover is fixed on her, Śyāmā's good fortune (saubhāgya) is the greater still.
stambha — 'being stunned, paralyzed,' one of the eight sāttvika-bhāvas (involuntary bodily signs of intense emotion). Here it is read out of the verse's paradox: the heart does not merely melt (a lesser sign) but, having melted, freezes stiff (the deeper sign).
