tad-darśanāhlāda-vidhūta-hṛd-rujaḥ — [the gopīs] whose heart-ache was dispelled by the joy of seeing him
The gopīs' hearts had ached while Kṛṣṇa was gone. Seeing him again, that joy shook the ache clean away.
An udāharaṇa of dhṛti — 'fortitude, fullness of heart', the vyabhicāri-bhāva treated here — illustrated 'through the absence of sorrow' (duḥkhābhāvena); quoted from the Tenth Canto, Bhāgavata 10.32.13.

It is not the gopīs alone who reached the very summit of their desire.
Jīva reads the 'na kevalam' as pairing two parties: not only the gopīs reached the summit — the śrutis did too (picked up in the next segment).

The śrutis too reached it. Jīva reads the verse's 'yathā' as 'by the way that' — the śrutis reach that summit precisely by singing the gopīs' good fortune. Their own fulfilment lies in glorifying the gopīs.
