śriyo māna-glāner anuśaya-vikalpaiḥ smita-mukhe
śriyaḥof the lovely one, of Śrī (the sulking heroine) genitive with māna-glāneḥ — whose māna is fading; here a heroine's name / 'the beauty'श्री नामक नायिका का — जिसका मान ढल रहा है
māna-glāneḥnow that her sulk is wilting, at the fading of her offended pride genitive of the occasion — māna 'huffy pride, the lover's sulk' + glāni 'wilting, going slack'; the moment Hari waits forमान के शिथिल होने के अवसर पर — मान अर्थात् रूठ जाने का अभिमान, और ग्लानि अर्थात् उसका मुरझाना
anuśaya-vikalpaiḥbecause second thoughts of regret are shaking it instrumental of means, telling how the māna wilts — anuśaya 'remorse, repentance' + vikalpa 'waverings, back-and-forth doubts'पश्चात्ताप और आगे-पीछे की दुविधाओं के द्वारा — जिनसे वह मान गल जाता है
smita-mukheamong the smiling-faced [girlfriends] locative, agreeing with sakhī-varge in L2 — smita 'a smile' + mukha 'face'मुसकाते हुए मुख वाले (सखी-समूह) में — स्मित अर्थात् मन्द हास, मुख अर्थात् चेहरा
śriyaḥ māna-glāneḥ — as the lovely one's sulk wilts; anuśaya-vikalpaiḥ — because regretful second thoughts are shaking it; smita-mukhe [sakhī-varge, L2] — among [her] smiling-faced [girlfriends].
The heroine, Śrī, has been sulking (māna), but the sulk is now wilting. Pangs of regret keep tugging at her, wavering back and forth (anuśaya-vikalpaiḥ), and her resolve to stay angry is slipping. This is the moment Hari has been waiting for. The line also sets the scene of the next: her girlfriends are gathered round, all smiling-faced.
Why cited: cited to exemplify narma-garbha: Hari accomplishes his own aim (winning back the sulking heroine, the embrace) while keeping it hidden — hiding among her sakhīs and pretending to fetch and punish 'that rogue'.
An udāharaṇa of narma-garbha, 'the joke-embedded [device]', the sandhy-aṅga defined in kārikā 266 (nc.9.1): the activity of the hero or heroine to accomplish his or her own aim, chiefly bent on concealment (pracchādana-para). Quoted from Rasārṇava-sudhākara 1.279. Watch how Kṛṣṇa's real object — an embrace to end her sulk — is carried out entirely under a disguise, which is what makes it narma-garbha rather than a plain reconciliation.

sakhī-varge gūḍhaṁ kṛtavasatir utthāya sahasā |
sakhī-vargeamong the band of her girlfriends locative, where he hides — sakhī 'girlfriend' + varga 'group, band'; picks up smita-mukhe from L1सखियों के समूह में — जहाँ वह छिपते हैं; सखी अर्थात् सहेली, वर्ग अर्थात् टोली; यह L1 के smita-mukhe को उठा लेता है
gūḍhamin hiding, keeping himself unseen adverb — gūḍha 'concealed, secret'; this is the pracchādana the definition demandsछिपकर, गुप्त रूप से — यही वह प्रच्छादन है जिसकी परिभाषा माँग करती है
kṛtavasatiḥhaving planted himself, having taken up his post nominative, of Hari (subject, L4) — kṛta 'made' + vasati 'a lodging, a place to stay'जिन्होंने अपना ठिकाना बना लिया — हरि (कर्ता); कृत अर्थात् किया हुआ, वसति अर्थात् ठहरने की जगह
utthāyaspringing up gerund — the sudden move out of hidingउठकर — छिपने से बाहर एकाएक निकलना
sahasāall at once, without warning adverb of mannerसहसा, एकाएक — इस रीति से
sakhī-varge — among her girlfriends; gūḍhaṁ kṛtavasatiḥ — having secretly stationed himself; sahasā utthāya — springing up all at once.
Hari has slipped in among the girlfriends and stationed himself there out of sight (gūḍhaṁ kṛtavasatiḥ) — the concealment (pracchādana) the definition calls for. Then, without warning, he springs up out of the group (sahasā utthāya). The trap is sprung.

dhūrtaṁ tam'that rogue, that cheat' accusative — dhūrta 'rogue, trickster'; the joke is that he means himself, Kṛṣṇa, spoken of in the third personउस धूर्त को — धूर्त अर्थात् ठग; हँसी यह है कि वे अपने ही को, अर्थात् कृष्ण को, तीसरे पुरुष में कहते हैं
aham'I myself [will do it]' nominative, emphatic — posing as the helpful sakhī who will go fetch Kṛṣṇaमैं ही — बलपूर्वक; उस सहायक सखी का भेस बनाए जो कृष्ण को पकड़ लाएगी

'dhūrtaṁ tam aham samaneṣye' iti jalpan — chattering 'I'll bring that rogue to heel myself'; nata-mukhīm — [approaching] her, the down-faced one.
Out of hiding he calls, in the voice of a helpful girlfriend: 'I'll go fetch that rogue and set him straight for you!' (samaneṣye dhūrtaṁ tam aham). The whole joke (narma) is that 'that rogue' is Kṛṣṇa himself — he is talking about himself in the third person to keep up the disguise. Prattling on like this, he moves toward the heroine, who is still keeping her face lowered (nata-mukhīm) in the last of her sulk.

āliṅgan[and] folding [her] in an embrace nominative present participle, of Hari — the real aim, accomplished under cover of the chatterआलिंगन करते हुए — हरि (कर्ता); यही असली प्रयोजन है, जो बक-बक की आड़ में सिद्ध होता है
hariḥHari (Kṛṣṇa) nominative, the subject holding the whole verse togetherहरि — कर्ता, जो सारे पद्य को एक सूत्र में बाँधते हैं
arati-khedam[your] ache of joyless unrest accusative, object of haratu — arati 'restlessness, no-delight' + kheda 'distress, weariness'अरति के कष्ट को — haratu का कर्म; अरति अर्थात् बेचैनी, आनन्द का अभाव, खेद अर्थात् व्यथा, थकान

hariḥ — Hari; nata-mukhīm (L3) priyāntām āliṅgan — embracing the down-faced beloved at his side; vaḥ arati-khedam haratu — may he take away your ache of restlessness.
And there is the point of it all: while still prattling his cover-story, Hari folds the down-faced beloved into an embrace (priyāntām āliṅgan). The chatter about 'punishing that rogue' was only the disguise; the embrace was the aim all along — svārtha-siddhi wrapped in pracchādana, which is exactly narma-garbha. The verse closes as a blessing (haratu vaḥ): may that same Hari take away your ache of joyless unrest.
priyāntām reads priya 'dear' + anta 'near, close at hand' — 'the beloved [held] close'; it doubles with nata-mukhīm (L3), both naming the one heroine Hari embraces.
hariḥ, śriyaḥ anuśaya-vikalpaiḥ māna-glāneḥ [sati], smita-mukhe sakhī-varge gūḍhaṁ kṛta-vasatiḥ, sahasā utthāya, "dhūrtaṁ tam aham samaneṣye" iti jalpan, nata-mukhīṁ priyāntām āliṅgan, vaḥ arati-khedaṁ haratu.
The heroine Śrī has been sulking, but now, as pangs of regret and back-and-forth second thoughts (anuśaya-vikalpaiḥ) shake her offended pride and it begins to wilt, Hari seizes the moment. He has slipped in secretly among her smiling-faced girlfriends and stationed himself there out of sight; then all at once he springs up and, in a helpful girlfriend's voice, calls out, "I myself will go fetch that rogue and set him straight!" — the joke (narma) being that "that rogue" is Kṛṣṇa himself, spoken of in the third person to keep up the disguise. Still prattling his cover-story, he folds into an embrace the beloved at his side, who keeps her face lowered in the last of her sulk — the embrace being his real aim all along, accomplished under cover of the chatter. May that same Hari take away your ache of joyless unrest.
An udāharaṇa of narma-garbha, the sandhy-aṅga defined in kārikā 266 (nc.9.1) — the hero's or heroine's activity that achieves its own aim while chiefly bent on concealment (pracchādana-para); quoted from Rasārṇava-sudhākara 1.279, closing as a benediction (haratu vaḥ).
