rādhā-puraḥ sphurati saṁvihitābhimanyu-
rādhā-puraḥright in front of Rādhā rādhā + puraḥ 'in front of' — the place where he shows upराधा के सामने — जहाँ वह प्रकट होता है
sphuratiwhen he appeared, when he came into view locative singular present participle — the verb of a locative absolute completed by muradviṣi (L2); 'when Kṛṣṇa appeared…'
saṁvihitābhimanyu-having got himself up as Abhimanyu saṁvihita 'arranged, put on' + abhimanyu (Rādhā's husband); the compound runs on into veṣe (L2) = 'in the costume he had arranged, of Abhimanyu'स्वयं रचे हुए अभिमन्यु के (वेष में) — यह समास L2 के वेषे तक चलता है
muradviṣi (L2) saṁvihita-abhimanyu-veṣe (L1–L2) sphurati — when Kṛṣṇa, got up in the costume of Abhimanyu, appeared; rādhā-puraḥ — right in front of Rādhā.
The scene is set. Kṛṣṇa dresses himself up as Abhimanyu — Rādhā's husband — and turns up right in front of her. The line opens a 'when…' clause (a locative absolute) that carries over into the next line, where we learn who this disguised figure is and what Rādhā does.
An udāharaṇa of bhaya-hāsyaja — mirth born of fear — accomplished veṣeṇa, 'by costume, by disguise'. It illustrates the aṅga (secondary) type of bhaya-hāsyaja defined in kārikā 263 (v186): 'that produced from the comic by way of fear', which is twofold (mukha and aṅga), each shown, as before, in three modes — by speech (vācā), by dress (veṣa), by gesture (ceṣṭā). The lead-in 'veṣeṇa, yathā' marks this as the dress-mode instance of the aṅga type.

veṣe muradviṣi manāg upalabdha-bhītiḥ |
veṣein that costume locative completing saṁvihita-abhimanyu-veṣe (L1); part of the locative absolute — 'in the disguise he had put on'उस धारण किए हुए वेष में — L1 के संविहित-अभिमन्यु-वेषे को पूरा करता है, सति-सप्तमी का अंश
muradviṣiwhen Kṛṣṇa, the foe of Mura [stood there] locative singular, the subject of the locative absolute; mura-dviṣ 'enemy of the demon Mura' = Kṛṣṇaमुरद्विष् अर्थात् मुर दैत्य के शत्रु कृष्ण के (प्रकट होने पर) — यही सति-सप्तमी का कर्ता
manākjust a little, for a moment indeclinable — measures how much fright: only slightथोड़ा-सा ही — भय की मात्रा नापता है
upalabdha-bhītiḥshe felt a touch of fright bahuvrīhi 'by whom fear was felt', describing caturā/Rādhā (L4); upalabdha 'obtained, felt' + bhīti 'fear'जिसने भय अनुभव किया — यह बहुव्रीहि L4 की चतुरा (राधा) का वर्णन करता है
muradviṣi saṁvihita-abhimanyu-veṣe (L1) — when Kṛṣṇa stood there in the costume of Abhimanyu; manāk upalabdha-bhītiḥ — [Rādhā,] having felt a slight fright.
The 'when' clause finishes. There stands Kṛṣṇa — the foe of Mura — in Abhimanyu's costume. For a moment Rādhā takes fright: manāk, 'just a little.' She half-thinks her husband has walked in. upalabdha-bhītiḥ, 'having felt fear,' describes Rādhā — the very woman who will be named caturā, 'the clever one', only in the last line. Fear (bhaya) comes first; the mirth is still to come.

naisargikīṁ praṇayataḥ sva-manaḥ-pravṛttiṁ
naisargikīṁhis inborn, natural [leaning] accusative feminine, agreeing with sva-manaḥ-pravṛttim — 'natural, arising by nature'स्वाभाविक, स्वभाव से उठी हुई — स्व-मनः-प्रवृत्ति से मेल खाती द्वितीया
praṇayataḥof him as he showed his love, of the affectionate one genitive singular present participle of pra-√nī 'to show love, be affectionate' — i.e. of Kṛṣṇaप्रेम करते हुए कृष्ण के — प्र-नी धातु का षष्ठी वर्तमान कृदन्त
sva-manaḥ-pravṛttiṁthe leaning of his own heart accusative, the object of avadhārya (L4); sva-manas 'his own mind' + pravṛtti 'inclination, impulse'अपने मन की प्रवृत्ति को — L4 के अवधार्य का कर्म
praṇayataḥ — of Kṛṣṇa as he showed his love; naisargikīṁ sva-manaḥ-pravṛttiṁ — the inborn leaning of his own heart [accusative, object of avadhārya, L4].
Now she reads what is really there. Under the disguise she catches the natural bent of his heart — naisargikī sva-manaḥ-pravṛtti, the inborn leaning of his own mind. praṇayataḥ tells us whose: Kṛṣṇa's, as he comes showing his love. The whole phrase waits to become the object of 'having made out' in the next line.

avadhāryaonce she had made it out, ascertained it gerund of ava-√dhṛ; takes sva-manaḥ-pravṛttim (L3) as its objectनिश्चय करके, जान लेकर — अव-धृ का ल्यबन्त, L3 की स्व-मनः-प्रवृत्ति को कर्म रूप में लेता है
caturāthe clever girl [Rādhā] nominative feminine, the subject; picks up upalabdha-bhītiḥ (L2) — the one who was frightened is the one who is cleverचतुर राधा ने — कर्ता; L2 की उपलब्ध-भीति वही है, जो भयभीत हुई वही चतुर है
smitam ātatānalet a smile spread across her face ātatāna, perfect of ā-√tan 'spread out' + smita 'a smile'मुस्कान फैला दी — आ-तन् का लिट् आततान और स्मित 'मुस्कान'
caturā — the clever Rādhā; tatra avadhārya — having made out, in that disguise, [the leaning of his heart, L3]; smitam ātatāna — spread out a smile.
The turn lands. Clever Rādhā (caturā) makes out, in the very costume that scared her, the leaning of his loving heart — and breaks into a smile (smitam ātatāna). Her fright melts straight into mirth. That flip from fear to a smile is exactly bhaya-hāsyaja, 'the comic born of fear', and here the disguise (veṣa) is what triggers both — the fright first, then, once she sees through it, the laughter. So this verse shows the dress-mode of the kārikā just defined.
The whole point of the illustration is the pivot: the disguise (veṣa) first produces bhaya (fear — she thinks it is Abhimanyu), then produces hāsya (mirth — she sees it is Kṛṣṇa in love). Fear turning into a smile through a single costume is precisely bhaya-hāsyaja done veṣeṇa.
saṁvihita-abhimanyu-veṣe muradviṣi rādhā-puraḥ sphurati [sati], manāk upalabdha-bhītiḥ caturā, tatra praṇayataḥ [muradviṣaḥ] naisargikīṁ sva-manaḥ-pravṛttiṁ avadhārya, smitam ātatāna.

When Kṛṣṇa, the foe of Mura, got up in a costume of Abhimanyu that he had himself contrived, appeared right in front of Rādhā, for a moment she felt a slight fright — half-taking him for her husband; but then, making out in that very disguise the inborn leaning of his own loving heart, the clever girl let a smile spread across her face.
An udāharaṇa of bhaya-hāsyaja — mirth born of fear — accomplished veṣeṇa, 'by disguise': the dress-mode instance of the aṅga (secondary) type defined in kārikā 263 (v186), where one and the same veṣa first stirs bhaya and then, once seen through, yields hāsya.
