tubut — turning from the sūcya (hinted matter) just treated to its oppositeपरन्तु (सूच्य से भेद दिखाने के लिए)
śobhā-udāra-rasa-bhāva-nirantaramnamely, what runs unbroken with śobhā (splendor), udāra (the noble, elevated), rasa (the aesthetic mood), and bhāva (emotion) bahuvrīhi predicate of asūcyaṁ; nirantara 'without a gap' = continuously filled with these fourजो शोभा, औदार्य, रस और भाव — इन चारों से निरन्तर (बिना किसी अन्तराल के) भरा हुआ हो (यह असूच्य का विशेषण है)
asūcyaṁ tu — but the asūcya (what must be staged directly, not reported); śobhā-udāra-rasa-bhāva-nirantaram — [is] whatever runs unbroken with splendor, nobility, rasa, and bhāva.
Now Rūpa turns (tu) from the sūcya — matter only hinted at — to its opposite, the asūcya. The asūcya is matter that must be shown directly on stage. What marks it? It runs unbroken (nirantara) with four things: śobhā (splendor), udāra (the noble and elevated), rasa (the mood), and bhāva (emotion). Because such matter is packed with beauty and feeling, it is fit to be enacted, not merely reported.
sūcya vs asūcya is a staging distinction. sūcya = matter kept off the stage and only hinted or reported through an indicatory scene — one of the arthopakṣepakas (viṣkambhaka, cūlikā, aṅkāsya, aṅkāvatāra, praveśaka), such as a battle, a death, or a long journey. asūcya = its opposite: matter fit to be enacted directly before the audience. Rūpa defines the asūcya here as whatever is continuously full of śobhā, udāra, rasa, and bhāva — the splendor and feeling that reward direct depiction.

Here is the rule that follows. If at the very opening (prārambhe) of the play there is matter of this asūcya kind — matter to be shown, not reported — then for it one should frame a full aṅka, an act. The eva presses the point: an act itself, precisely, and not one of the lesser indicatory scenes that serve only for sūcya (hinted) matter.

The asūcya, by contrast, is matter that runs unbroken with śobhā (splendor), udāra (the noble and elevated), rasa (the aesthetic mood), and bhāva (emotion) — and, being so full of beauty and feeling, is fit to be shown directly on stage rather than merely hinted at. If such asūcya matter should arise at the very opening of the play, then for it one should frame a full aṅka (act) itself, and nothing less.
A definition-and-rule kārikā: it defines the asūcya (matter for direct enactment, unbroken in śobhā, udāra, rasa, and bhāva) as the counterpart of the sūcya, then prescribes that asūcya matter occurring at a play's opening be framed as a full aṅka.
