An udāharaṇa of the first patākā-sthānaka just defined in the preceding kārikā (nc.8.88): 'sahasā eva artha-sampattiḥ guṇavatī upacārataḥ' — a sudden, felicitous attainment of the longed-for object, reached upacārataḥ, by a figurative/suggestive turn. In the stage-direction Rādhikā walks about, grasps the edge of a yellow upper-cloth (pītottarīya, Kṛṣṇa's own colour), and trembling suddenly speaks as though her life's companion were in her arms again — the abrupt artha-sampatti, figuratively expressed. Spoken by Rādhikā in Lalita-Mādhava, act 7, verse 18.
