asau vyastanyāsā viśadayati mālā vivaśatāṁ
asauthis one here — the garland lying before them feminine nominative, agreeing with mālāयह (माला)
vyasta-nyāsāworn all askew, its placing thrown into disorder bahuvrīhi describing mālā: vyasta 'scattered, disarranged' + nyāsa 'setting, laying-on' — 'whose arrangement is disturbed'जिसकी गूँथन बिखर गई है — बिखरी सजावट वाली
viśadayatimakes plain, brings clearly to light causative of √viśada, 'to clarify' — the token 'reveals' what caused itस्पष्ट कर देती है, प्रकट कर देती है
mālāthe flower-garland [she left as an offering]माला
vivaśatāṁhow utterly she had lost hold of herself — her being swept away [by love] accusative object of viśadayati; vivaśa 'not in one's own control' + -tā, the abstract state(उस स्त्री की) विवशता को
asau mālā vyasta-nyāsā [satī] vivaśatāṁ viśadayati — this garland, worn all askew, makes plain how she had lost hold of herself.
Kṛṣṇa now reads the woman's love off the things she left behind. First the garland: it lies all askew, its arrangement in disarray. That very disorder, he says, makes plain how far gone she was — how she had lost all hold of herself. The token is offered as a hetu: from the sign he argues back to its cause.
An udāharaṇa of hetu, the sandhy-aṅga defined just before in nc.8.25 (156): 'sa hetur iti nirdiṣṭo yat sādhyārtha-prasādhakam' — hetu is that which accomplishes the object to be established. Here each love-token is a hetu: the disordered garland, the streaked paste, the crooked tilaka each 'reveals / tells / speaks / proclaims,' and together they accomplish the sādhya — the settling of her premā. Quoted from the seventh act (7.32), spoken by Kṛṣṇa: Madhumaṅgala has looked round and said [Prakrit, chāyā: priya-vayasya, paśya kayāpy anurāgiṇyā sevā kṛtāsti] 'Dear friend, look — some passionate woman (anurāgiṇī) has done a service (sevā) here,' and Kṛṣṇa answers 'sakhe! sādhu lakṣitam' ('Well noticed, friend') before reading the tokens in this verse.

kara-utkampaṁthe trembling of her hand accusative object of vadati; kara 'hand' + utkampa 'shaking, tremor'हाथ के कँपन को

iyaṁ carcā vibhaktā [satī] nayana-jala-vṛṣṭiṁ kathayati; idaṁ tilakaṁ kuñcitaṁ [sat] tasyā kara-utkampaṁ vadati — this body-paste, run into streaks, tells of a downpour of tears; this tilaka, drawn crooked, speaks of the trembling of her hand.
Two more tokens, each read the same way. The fragrant paste on her body has run into streaks — and that streaking tells of a downpour of tears that broke it up. And her brow-mark is drawn crooked — and that crookedness speaks of the hand that trembled as she set it. Each detail is a hetu, a sign argued back to its cause: tears here, a shaking hand there.

kṛśāṅgyāḥ premāṇaṁ varivasitam eva prathayati
kṛśāṅgyāḥof the slender-limbed girl — whose love it is genitive depending on premāṇaṁ; kṛśa 'slender' + aṅgī 'limbed'कृशांगी (क्षीण अंगों वाली स्त्री) के
premāṇaṁthe love, the depth of her feeling accusative object of prathayatiप्रेम को
varivasitamher worshipful service, the devoted attendance she paid varivasita (from varivasyā, 'reverent service') stands in apposition to premāṇaṁ — the love shown as worshipसेवा-रूप में — पूजा के रूप में दिखाए गए (प्रेम को)
evanothing other than — a love that is precisely [this worship] eva ties varivasitam tight to premāṇaṁ: her love just is her act of serviceही (उसका प्रेम मानो उसकी सेवा ही है)
prathayatiproclaims, spreads the news of singular, but its subject is the whole set of tokens taken together — 'all this proclaims'प्रकट कर देता है, फैला देता है
[etat sarvaṁ] kṛśāṅgyāḥ premāṇaṁ varivasitam eva prathayati — [all of this] proclaims the slender girl's love, a love that is nothing but worshipful service.
And the conclusion the tokens add up to: all of it, taken together, proclaims the slender girl's love — a love that is nothing other than devoted worship. The signs are the hetu; her premā is what they accomplish and make known. This is why the whole verse illustrates hetu — 'that which establishes the thing to be proved.'
asau vyasta-nyāsā mālā vivaśatāṁ viśadayati; vibhaktā iyaṁ carcā nayana-jala-vṛṣṭiṁ kathayati; kuñcitam idaṁ tilakaṁ tasyā kara-utkampaṁ vadati; [etat sarvaṁ] kṛśāṅgyāḥ premāṇaṁ varivasitam eva prathayati.
vyasta-nyāsā asau mālā (tasyāḥ) vivaśatāṁ viśadayati; vibhaktā iyaṁ carcā nayana-jala-vṛṣṭiṁ kathayati; kuñcitam idaṁ tilakaṁ tasyāḥ kara-utkampaṁ vadati; (etat sarvaṁ) kṛśāṅgyāḥ premāṇaṁ varivasitam eva prathayati।
This garland here, worn all askew, makes plain how utterly she had lost hold of herself; this smear of fragrant paste, run into streaks, tells of a downpour of tears; this brow-tilaka, drawn crooked, speaks of the trembling of her hand — and all of it together proclaims the slender girl's love, a love that is nothing other than devoted worship.
An udāharaṇa of hetu, the sandhy-aṅga defined just before in nc.8.25 — 'that which accomplishes the object to be established': each love-token (skewed garland, streaked paste, crooked tilaka) is a hetu argued back to its cause, and together they establish the sādhya, the slender girl's premā. Quoted from the seventh act (7.32), spoken by Kṛṣṇa.
