siddhi-prasiddhī dākṣiṇyam arthāpattir vibhūṣaṇam |
siddhi-prasiddhīsiddhi (the 'success' ornament) and prasiddhi (the 'wide renown' ornament) — the first two named here: a wished-for thing shown come off, and an appeal to what is commonly known dvandva in the nominative dual (-ī), naming the pair togetherसिद्धि और प्रसिद्धि — ये दो (नाम, एक साथ द्वन्द्व में)
dākṣiṇyamdākṣiṇya (the 'courtesy' ornament) — gracious, obliging considerateness in speechदाक्षिण्य (नाम)
arthāpattiḥarthāpatti (the 'presumptive implication' ornament) — one thing stated, another understood as necessarily followingअर्थापत्ति (नाम)
vibhūṣaṇamvibhūṣaṇa (the 'special adornment' ornament) — decking a thing out by heaping fine qualities on itऔर विभूषण (नाम)
siddhi-prasiddhī — siddhi and prasiddhi; dākṣiṇyam — dākṣiṇya; arthāpattiḥ — arthāpatti; vibhūṣaṇam — vibhūṣaṇa.
The roll-call of the thirty-six ornaments continues. This line names five more: siddhi, 'success' — showing a hoped-for thing accomplished; prasiddhi, 'renown' — an appeal to what everyone already knows; dākṣiṇya, 'courtesy' — obliging, gracious speech; arthāpatti, 'presumptive implication' — where saying one thing makes a second follow of itself; and vibhūṣaṇa, 'adornment' — dressing a subject up with fine qualities. The verse only names them; it does not stop to define each.
This kārikā continues the enumeration of the thirty-six bhūṣaṇas, the classical ornaments of Sanskrit drama going back to Bharata's Nāṭyaśāstra, begun in the previous kārikā (150) and carried on in the next (152). The verse is a bare naming-list — a mnemonic roll of names, not a set of definitions. Note the mild echo: the whole section is the vibhūṣaṇāni (the ornaments), and one individual ornament within it is itself named vibhūṣaṇa.

padoccayas tulya-tarko vicāras tad-viparyayaḥ ||
padoccayaḥpadoccaya (the 'heaping-up of words' ornament) — piling several terms togetherपदोच्चय (नाम)
tulya-tarkaḥtulya-tarka (the 'reasoning by a like case' ornament) — inferring one thing from a parallel oneतुल्यतर्क (नाम)
vicāraḥvicāra (the 'weighing-out' ornament) — settling a matter by reasoned deliberationविचार (नाम)
tad-viparyayaḥtad-viparyaya — 'the reverse of that', i.e. the ornament viparyaya, the counter of vicāra tat 'that' (= vicāra) + viparyaya 'reversal'; a compound naming the ornament by its oppositeऔर उसका विपर्यय — अर्थात् उस विचार का उलटा (यही विपर्यय भूषण का नाम है)
padoccayaḥ — padoccaya; tulya-tarkaḥ — tulya-tarka; vicāraḥ — vicāra; tad-viparyayaḥ — tad-viparyaya, the reverse of vicāra.
The line names four more ornaments. Padoccaya, 'a heaping-up of words' — piling terms one on another. Tulya-tarka, 'reasoning by a like case' — arguing from a parallel. Vicāra, 'weighing it out' — deciding a matter by reasoned deliberation. And last, tad-viparyaya, 'the reverse of that' — the ornament that is simply the opposite of vicāra, named viparyaya. Again the verse only lists the names; it leaves the defining to the tradition.
tad-viparyaya, 'the reverse of that', is how Rūpa names the ornament viparyaya (contrariety), defining it here only by its being the opposite of the vicāra just named — a compact way to close the pair. Like L1 this is a naming-list line within the roll of the thirty-six bhūṣaṇas; the enumeration runs on into the next kārikā (152).
siddhi-prasiddhī, dākṣiṇyam, arthāpattiḥ, vibhūṣaṇam, padoccayaḥ, tulya-tarkaḥ, vicāraḥ, tad-viparyayaḥ (iti nava bhūṣaṇāni).
siddhi (success), prasiddhi (renown), dākṣiṇya (courtesy), arthāpatti (presumptive implication), vibhūṣaṇa (adornment), padoccaya (a heaping-up of words), tulya-tarka (reasoning by a like case), vicāra (weighing a matter out), and its reverse, tad-viparyaya (viparyaya) — these are named in turn. The kārikā only calls out the names of these ornaments; it leaves the defining of each to the tradition.
A bare naming-list kārikā continuing the roll of the thirty-six bhūṣaṇas of drama (from 150, on into 152): it names nine more ornaments — siddhi, prasiddhi, dākṣiṇya, arthāpatti, vibhūṣaṇa, padoccaya, tulya-tarka, vicāra, and its opposite viparyaya — without defining them.
