The verse — decoded
L1example
muṣṭinā jhaṭiti puṇajano’yaṁ
muṣṭināwith a single fist instrumental of means — the weapon is nothing but a bare fistकेवल एक मुट्ठी के द्वारा — शस्त्र और कुछ नहीं, बस नंगी मुट्ठी
jhaṭitiall at once, in an instantतुरन्त, पलभर में
puṇajano’yaṁthis demon here (puṇya-jana, lit. 'holy person,' a stock euphemism for a rākṣasa) nominative — the subject; its predicate 'daṇḍitaḥ' waits in L4यह पुणजन नामक दैत्य — प्रथमा में कर्ता; इसका विधेय 'दण्डितः' L4 में प्रतीक्षा कर रहा है
puṇajanaḥ ayam — this demon here; muṣṭinā — with one fist; jhaṭiti — in an instant; [daṇḍitaḥ — is struck down, completed in L4]
The offstage voice cries out: 'This demon — in a flash, with a single fist...' The subject is a rākṣasa; the fist, we learn below, is Kṛṣṇa's. The whole verse runs on into L4, where the main word 'punished' lands.
An udāharaṇa of vadha, 'the slaying,' the sandhy-aṅga just defined in the previous kārikā (nc.7.11, ref 134): vadha is the act of taking the life of an ātatāyin, an assailant bent on violence. This verse shows Kṛṣṇa performing exactly that.

hanta pāpa-viniveśita-cetāḥ |
hantaalas! — an exclamation of pity, even as the demon fallsअहो!
pāpa-viniveśita-cetāḥthe one whose mind was fixed on sin, his heart set on doing evil bahuvrīhi describing the demon of L1 — marks him as the ātatāyin, the aggressorजिसका चित्त पाप में ही जमा हुआ था — बहुव्रीहि, जो L1 के दैत्य का वर्णन करता है और उसे आततायी सिद्ध करता है
hanta — alas!; pāpa-viniveśita-cetāḥ — [this demon] whose mind was set on wickedness
'Alas! — his heart was bent on sin.' The word names why the killing is a righteous vadha: the victim is the aggressor, a creature whose very mind was fixed on evil. He is the ātatāyin of the definition, so slaying him is no crime.

puṇḍarīka-nayanena sakhelaṁ
puṇḍarīka-nayanenaby the lotus-eyed one — Kṛṣṇa instrumental of agent — 'by'; names the doer of the slayingकमल जैसे नेत्रों वाले (कृष्ण) के द्वारा — तृतीया में कर्ता, वध का करने वाला
sakhelaṁplayfully, as easily as sport sa-khelam, adverb — the killing costs him no effort at allखेल-खेल में — यह वध उन्हें तनिक भी परिश्रम नहीं देता
puṇḍarīka-nayanena — by the lotus-eyed Kṛṣṇa; sakhelaṁ — as if in play
'By the lotus-eyed one — and as easy as play.' Kṛṣṇa is the slayer. The touch that matters is 'sakhelaṁ': destroying the demon is mere sport to him, done without strain, almost in fun.
puṇḍarīka-nayana, 'lotus-eyed,' is a standing epithet of Kṛṣṇa (Viṣṇu) — the gentle, beautiful eye set against the fist that kills.

daṇḍitaḥ sakala-jīvita-vittam
daṇḍitaḥhas been punished — struck down, penalized nominative predicate agreeing with 'ayaṁ puṇajanaḥ' of L1 — the main word the whole verse was building towardदण्डित किया गया — प्रथमा में विधेय, जो L1 के 'अयं पुणजनः' से अन्वय रखता है; यही वह मुख्य पद है जिसकी ओर सारा श्लोक बढ़ रहा था
sakala-jīvita-vittamof the whole treasure that was his very life — i.e. stripped of his life itself accusative of the thing exacted — daṇḍ- takes a double object; the 'fine' levied on him is his lifeसम्पूर्ण जीवन-रूपी धन को — द्वितीया में वसूली गई वस्तु; 'दण्ड्' दो कर्म लेती है, और उस पर लगाया गया 'जुर्माना' उसका प्राण ही है
[ayaṁ puṇajanaḥ] daṇḍitaḥ — this demon has been punished; sakala-jīvita-vittam — [mulcted] of all the treasure that was his life
'...punished — robbed of the whole treasure that was his life.' The main statement finally arrives. 'daṇḍita' with the accusative 'sakala-jīvita-vittam' means fined of it, made to forfeit it: the penalty exacted is his life entire. Read whole: this sin-minded demon, in one instant, with a single fist, has been playfully struck down by lotus-eyed Kṛṣṇa and stripped of his very life — a clean example of vadha, the slaying of an assailant.
hanta! ayaṁ pāpa-viniveśita-cetāḥ puṇajanaḥ puṇḍarīka-nayanena muṣṭinā jhaṭiti sakhelaṁ sakala-jīvita-vittam daṇḍitaḥ.
hanta!
Ah! this demon, whose very mind was fixed on sin, has in a single instant, with one bare fist, been playfully struck down by the lotus-eyed Kṛṣṇa — mulcted of the whole treasure that was his life, made to forfeit his very life itself.
An udāharaṇa (illustrative verse, quoted from the second act, spoken nepathye — offstage) of vadha, the sandhy-aṅga defined in the preceding kārikā (nc.7.11): the slaying of an ātatāyin, an assailant bent on violence — here shown by Kṛṣṇa's effortless killing of a sin-minded demon.
