prasannatāa pleased, gracious clearness of mindप्रसन्नता (प्रसन्न होने का भाव)
prasādaḥ — prasāda is; prasannatā — a pleased, gracious clearness of mind; yat śuśrūṣādy-upasampannā — the one that comes furnished with eager, attentive service and the like.
This line defines the aṅga called prasāda. Prasāda is a pleased, gracious state of mind — the heart clearing and softening into favor. Its mark is that it comes furnished with eager, attentive service and the like. So when devoted service wins someone over, the gracious favor that answers it is prasāda.
prasāda is one of the aṅgas (constituent elements) of the nirvahaṇa-sandhi, the concluding 'junction' of a Sanskrit play. It falls in the run nirṇaya, paribhāṣaṇa (the preceding kārikā), prasāda, ānanda, samaya. This line is the lakṣaṇa (definition); its udāharaṇa follows next — Kṛṣṇa's gracious favor toward Sukaṇṭhī (nc.6.113). The definition is quoted from a dramaturgical authority (source work unnamed here).

That pleased, gracious clearness of mind which comes furnished with eager, attentive service and the like — that is what is called prasāda, gracious favor.
The lakṣaṇa (defining verse) of prasāda, one of the aṅgas of the nirvahaṇa-sandhi (a play's concluding junction, in the run nirṇaya, paribhāṣaṇa, prasāda, ānanda, samaya); quoted from a dramaturgical authority, its udāharaṇa — Kṛṣṇa's gracious favor toward Sukaṇṭhī — follows in nc.6.113.
