It names the first five of the fourteen sandhy-aṅgas — the component 'limbs' — of the nirvahaṇa-sandhi, the concluding juncture defined in the preceding kārikās (v101–v102). The remaining nine (prasāda, ānanda, samaya, kṛti, bhāṣā, upagūhana, pūrva-bhāva, upasaṁhāra, praśasti) follow in the next kārikā (v104), which closes the set. The list follows the standard nāṭya-śāstra enumeration (cf. Daśarūpaka 1.55–56); there the second limb is vibodha (the renewed seeking of the goal), where this text reads virodha. Though the source tags this block quoted (from the festival lead-in preceding it), the line itself functions as Rūpa's own enumeration of the limbs, exactly parallel to the vimarśa-sandhi list at v079.
