These are sandhy-aṅgas — the small limbs that make up a junction of the plot. This kārikā and the next give the closing set of them (the limbs of the nirvahaṇa-sandhi, the dénouement), rounding off a list the earlier kārikās began; the run ends with praśasti in L2.
ये सन्धि के अंग हैं — वे छोटे-छोटे अवयव जिनसे कथानक की सन्धि बनती है। यह कारिका और अगली कारिका इन अंगों का अन्तिम समूह देती हैं — अर्थात् निर्वहण-सन्धि (कथा के उपसंहार) के अंग — और पहले की कारिकाओं में आरम्भ हुई गणना को यहाँ पूर्ण करती हैं; यह क्रम L2 में प्रशस्ति से समाप्त होता है।

And the last of them: pūrvabhāva, the look back to earlier events; upasaṁhāra, the winding-up; and praśasti, the closing blessing. These, says Rūpa, are the limbs the wise lay down.
पूर्वभाव और उपसंहार — ये दो अंग हैं। और प्रशस्ति — यह भी एक अंग है। मनीषियों (विद्वानों) ने इन्हें सन्धि के अंगों के रूप में गिना है।
praśasti — the benediction for welfare — is always the final limb, so its place here marks the end of the enumeration of the aṅgas.
प्रशस्ति — कल्याण की मंगल-कामना — सदा अन्तिम अंग होती है, इसलिए यहाँ इसका स्थान अंगों की गणना के अन्त को सूचित करता है।
