'विरोधन' का लक्षण यह है — क्रोध से उद्दीप्त हुए (संरब्ध) दो पक्षों का परस्पर विरोध-वचन ही विरोधन कहलाता है। अर्थात् उत्तेजित व्यक्ति जब आपस में एक-दूसरे के विरुद्ध वचन बोलते हैं, वही यह अंग है।
