śāstu dvāravatī-patiṁs trijagatīṁ saundarya-paryācitaḥ
śāstulet him rule — go ahead, let him govern 3rd-sg. imperative of śās, thrown out dismissively: 'fine, let him rule' — the sarcasm that opens an angry speech'चलो, शासन करता ही रहे' — शास् धातु की आज्ञार्थ क्रिया, तिरस्कार के साथ फेंकी गई; इसी व्यंग्य से क्रोध-भरा वचन आरम्भ होता है
dvāravatī-patiṁsthe lord of Dvārakā (Dvāravatī) nominative subject (patiḥ → patis before t) — Kṛṣṇa in his majestic Dvārakā form, set up here only to be waved asideद्वारका के स्वामी (कृष्ण) को — कर्ता (पतिः का पतिस्, त् से पहले); यहाँ ऐश्वर्यमय द्वारका-रूप कृष्ण को खड़ा ही इसलिए किया गया कि उन्हें एक ओर हटा दिया जाए
trijagatīṁthe three worlds accusative — what he may go on rulingतीनों लोकों पर — कर्म; जिन पर वह चाहे तो शासन करता रहे
saundarya-paryācitaḥdrenched all over in beauty nominative describing the lord; paryācita 'poured over, suffused' — his dazzling beauty is granted, then dismissed as beside the pointसौन्दर्य से आप्लावित (छलका हुआ) — स्वामी का विशेषण; उनकी चकाचौंध करने वाली सुन्दरता मान भी ली, फिर भी बात से बाहर की वस्तु कहकर टाल दी
dvāravatī-patiṁs — the lord of Dvārakā; saundarya-paryācitaḥ — drenched all over in beauty; trijagatīṁ śāstu — let him go on ruling the three worlds.
Rādhā opens with a scornful shrug. 'The lord of Dvārakā, that beauty-drenched figure — very well, let him rule all three worlds.' She grants the sakhīs everything they have been praising, the majesty and the beauty, only to sweep it aside in the next breath.
An udāharaṇa (illustrative verse) of sampheṭa, 'angry speech' (roṣa-bhāṣaṇam) — the second of the thirteen aṅgas of the vimarśa-sandhi listed in nc.6.79 (ref 95) and defined in this unit's lead-in (sampheṭo roṣa-bhāṣaṇam). It is spoken angrily by Rādhikā, in Sanskrit, and quoted from Rūpa Gosvāmī's own play the Lalita-Mādhava (7.2). The following kārikā (nc.6.82) observes that here the sampheṭa is aimed at the sakhī Bakulā through veiled fault-speech (gūḍha-doṣokti).

kiṁ nas tena viramyatāṁ katham asau śokāgnir ujjvālyate |
kiṁ nas tenawhat is he to us? kiṁ 'what' + naḥ 'to us' (gen./dat.) + tena 'with him' (instr.) — the idiom 'what have we to do with him?', pure dismissal'उससे हमें क्या?'
viramyatāṁlet it stop — enough of this! passive imperative (impersonal) — 'let there be a stopping', i.e. break off the whole line of talkबस, रुक जाए (यह सारी चर्चा) — भाववाच्य आज्ञार्थ; अर्थात् यह पूरा प्रसंग ही तोड़ दो
asau śokāgnirthis fire of grief nominative subject of the passive verb — the blaze her friends' words keep feedingयह शोक की अग्नि — भाववाच्य क्रिया का कर्ता; वही ज्वाला जिसे सखियों के वचन बार-बार भड़काते रहते हैं
ujjvālyateis being fanned into flame causative passive — someone is doing the kindling; she means: you are, by dragging his name up againऔर अधिक भड़काई जा रही है — प्रेरणार्थक कर्मवाच्य; कोई सुलगा रहा है, और उसका आशय है — तुम्हीं, उसका नाम फिर-फिर उठाकर
kiṁ naḥ tena — what is he to us?; viramyatāṁ — let it stop, enough!; katham asau śokāgniḥ ujjvālyate — why is this fire of grief being fanned into flame?
'What is he to us? Enough — let this stop!' Then she turns on them directly. 'Why do you keep fanning this fire of grief in me?' Every time they raise the Dvārakā lord, they reignite her pain, and she blames them for it.

sphuṭayukti-koṭi-garima-vyāhāriṇībhirwho keep talking on with the crushing weight of ten million clear-cut arguments fem.-pl. instr. agreeing with yuṣmābhiḥ; sphuṭa 'plain, clear' + yukti 'reasonings' + koṭi 'ten million' + garima 'ponderous weight' + vyāhāriṇī 'one who talks on' — she mocks their relentless clever persuadingस्पष्ट युक्तियों की करोड़ों की गुरुता से लगातार बोलती रहने वाली (तुम) — युष्माभिः के साथ स्त्रीलिंग बहुवचन करण; स्फुट 'साफ़, स्पष्ट' + युक्ति 'तर्क' + कोटि 'करोड़' + गरिम 'भारी बोझ' + व्याहारिणी 'बोलती रहने वाली'; वह उनके निरन्तर चतुर समझाने का उपहास करती है
balādby main force ablative used as adverb — the argument amounts to strong-arming herबलपूर्वक — पंचमी क्रियाविशेषण के रूप में; अर्थात् यह तर्क-जाल उस पर ज़बरदस्ती करने जैसा है
yuṣmābhiḥ — by you women; sphuṭayukti-koṭi-garima-vyāhāriṇībhiḥ — who keep pressing with the crushing weight of ten million clear-cut arguments; balād — by main force.
Now she names her tormentors. 'You women — going on and on with the sheer weight of a million watertight arguments — trying by brute force...' She casts their well-meant persuasion as a battering ram of reasons, all aimed at prying her loose. The sentence breaks off here and finishes in the next line.

ākarṣṭuṁ vraja-rāja-nandana-padāmbhojān na śakyā vayam || 7.2 ||
ākarṣṭuṁto drag away infinitive completing 'you are not able... to drag' — the thing their arguments are trying to doखींचने के लिए — 'खींच पाना' पूरा करने वाला तुमुन्नन्त (हेत्वर्थक); वही जो उनके तर्क करना चाहते हैं
vraja-rāja-nandana-padāmbhojānaway from the lotus feet of the son of Vraja's king the point she is being pulled from ('away from his feet'); vraja-rāja-nandana = Nanda-nandana, the cowherd Kṛṣṇa of Vraja — deliberately NOT the Dvārakā lord of L1व्रजराज के पुत्र के चरणकमलों से (दूर) — जहाँ से उसे खींचा जा रहा है; व्रज-राज-नन्दन अर्थात् नन्द-नन्दन, व्रज के गोपकृष्ण — जानबूझकर L1 के द्वारका-स्वामी से भिन्न
na śakyā vayamwe cannot be — it simply cannot be done śakyā (+ infinitive, passive potential) with vayam 'we' as its subject: 'we are not able to be dragged'हम खींची नहीं जा सकतीं — शक्या (तुमुन्नन्त के साथ, कर्मवाच्य सामर्थ्य) और वयम् 'हम' उसका कर्ता; 'हम खींची जाने योग्य नहीं'
vraja-rāja-nandana-padāmbhojān ākarṣṭuṁ — to drag [us] away from the lotus feet of the son of Vraja's king; vayam na śakyā — we cannot be [so dragged].
And here is the sting. 'You cannot drag us away from the lotus feet of the son of Vraja's king.' This is the whole point of her anger. The friends keep exalting the Dvārakā lord, but her heart is fixed on the cowherd boy of Vraja, Nanda's son. No weight of argument will pull her from his feet to that other, grander Kṛṣṇa. The angry retort itself is the sampheṭa the treatise is illustrating.

You women, forever talking on with the crushing weight of ten million watertight arguments, cannot by main force drag us away from the lotus feet of the son of Vraja's king.
