First mūla line of an udāharaṇa — an illustrative verse (ref 3.17) quoted here for kārikā 67 (vibhāga 6). It exemplifies the sandhy-aṅga vidhuta: grief laid open and every comfort refused (lead-in: 'atra prakaṭam eva duḥkhaṁ vidhutam', 'here grief is openly shaken forth'). It is the second illustration (yathā vā) of that aṅga. Spoken by the fair lady (vara-varṇinī) heard from offstage (nepathye), which Paurṇamāsī bids the hearer attend to.

śuṣyan-mukhī mama guṇaṁ parikīrtayantī | dūrād amārdava-bhṛto’pi muhuḥ kṣamāyāḥ
śuṣyan-mukhīyour face drying up (with worry over me) nom. fem., in apposition to tvam — still the friendसूखे मुख वाली (वही सखी, tvam की समानाधिकरण में)
mama guṇaṁmy good pointsमेरे गुण को
parikīrtayantīas you keep singing them out pres. participle, fem., again of the friendबखानती हुई, कीर्तन करती हुई (फिर वही सखी)
dūrātfrom far off ablative — the distance across which it strikesदूर से — जितनी दूरी पार करके वह आघात करता है
amārdava-bhṛtaḥhard though it is, holding no softness a-mārdava 'no-softness'; genitive agreeing with kṣamāyāḥ, the earthजो कोमलता से रहित (कठोरता धारण किए) है — kṣamāyāḥ (पृथ्वी) की विशेषणी
apieven so — concessive, 'hard as it is'भी
muhuḥover and overबार-बार
kṣamāyāḥof the earth (kṣamā) genitive, what is being torn; kṣamā puns on 'forbearance' — the suggested second senseक्षमा (पृथ्वी) की — जो चीरी जा रही है; 'क्षमा' सहनशीलता का भी सुझाव देती है
śuṣyan-mukhī — (you) withering-faced; mama guṇaṁ parikīrtayantī — proclaiming my virtues; [and now the sight:] dūrāt — from afar; amārdava-bhṛtaḥ api — hard though it is; muhuḥ — again and again; kṣamāyāḥ — of the earth …
Your own face has withered, forever calling out my virtues to soothe me. But look — from far away, and hard and unyielding as the earth is, again and again …
kṣamā carries two senses: the earth, and forbearance/patience. On the surface the wheel tears the hard earth; the suggested sense is that her very forbearance is being ripped open.

kukṣiṁ vidārayati paśya rathāṅga-nemiḥ

vidārayatiit rips wide open 3rd-sg. present; subject is rathāṅga-nemiḥचीर डालता है (कर्ता rathāṅga-nemiḥ)
paśyajust look! 2nd-sg. imperative, back to the friendदेखो — फिर सखी को सम्बोधन
rathāṅga-nemiḥthe rim of the chariot-wheel rathāṅga 'wheel', nemi 'felly, rim'; the subject that tearsरथाङ्ग (चक्र) की नेमि (रिम, धार) — चीरने वाला कर्ता
paśya — look; rathāṅga-nemiḥ — the chariot-wheel's rim; dūrāt amārdava-bhṛtaḥ api kṣamāyāḥ — from afar, of the earth, hard though it be; muhuḥ — again and again; kukṣiṁ vidārayati — tears open its belly.
Look — the rim of the [departing] chariot-wheel gouges open the belly of the earth, again and again, from far off, hard as that earth is.
The a-fortiori that clinches the refusal of comfort: if even the hard earth is split from afar by the wheel, no soothing can mend a heart like mine — so the friend's consoling (L1) is in vain. This closing image is what makes the verse an udāharaṇa of vidhuta.
tvam hatāśo śuṣyan-mukhī mama guṇaṁ parikīrtayantī idaṁ āśvāsanaṁ na viracaya; paśya, rathāṅga-nemiḥ dūrād amārdava-bhṛtaḥ api kṣamāyāḥ kukṣiṁ muhuḥ vidārayati.
Do not keep weaving me this comfort, my friend — your hope of soothing me is spent, your own face withered from forever calling out my virtues. Just look: from far off the rim of the departing chariot-wheel rips open the belly of the earth (kṣamā), again and again — hard and unyielding as that earth is. If even the hard earth is torn from a distance, no consoling can knit a heart like mine.
An udāharaṇa (verse 3.17, spoken by the vara-varṇinī heard from offstage) illustrating the sandhy-aṅga vidhuta — grief laid open and every comfort refused; the second illustration (yathā vā) adduced for kārikā 67 (vibhāga 6), with kṣamā punning on 'earth' and 'forbearance'.
