The third of the prastāvanā's own limbs is prayogātiśaya, the 'heightening of the performance'. With kathodghāta and pravartaka, named in the last verse, that makes three. And besides these three, there is a pair of limbs borrowed from the vīthī.
vīthī — one of the ten rūpaka (drama-types), a light one-act form; the tradition assigns the vīthī thirteen aṅgas, two of which also serve as limbs of the prastāvanā (the prologue). Those two are named in the next line.
L2definition
udghātyakāvalagita-saṅgakaṁ muninoditam ||
udghātyakāvalagita-saṅgakamnamely the pair made up of udghātyaka and avalagita bahuvrīhi describing yugmakam — 'the pair joined with udghātyaka and avalagita'; neuter, agreeing with vīthy-aṅga-yugmakamउद्घात्यक और अवलगित (नामक अंगों) से युक्त — अर्थात् वीथी के वे दो अंग यही हैं
uditamis what he taught, declared past pass. part., neuter, agreeing with the yugmakam / the whole schemeकहा गया है / कथित है
udghātyaka-avalagita-saṅgakam — the pair made of udghātyaka and avalagita; muninā uditam — is what the sage Bharata declared.
That borrowed pair is udghātyaka and avalagita — two of the vīthī's own limbs that do double duty here in the prologue. This whole reckoning of the five prastāvanā-limbs is what the sage Bharata taught.
muni — 'the sage', by convention Bharata, author of the Nāṭyaśāstra; Rūpa signs the fivefold scheme as Bharata's own teaching, not his innovation.
prayogātiśayaḥ ca iti — [ity evaṁ prastāvanāyāḥ trīṇi svāṅgāni]; tathā udghātyaka-avalagita-saṅgakam vīthy-aṅga-yugmakam muninā uditam.
prayogātiśayaḥ ca iti (एतावन्ति प्रस्तावना के अंग हैं); tathā ca udghātyakāvalagita-saṅgakam vīthy-aṅga-yugmakam muninā uditam।
And prayogātiśaya, the 'heightening of the performance' — with this the prastāvanā's own three limbs (kathodghāta and pravartaka named already, and this third) are complete. Besides these, the sage Bharata taught that a pair of limbs is borrowed from the vīthī, namely udghātyaka and avalagita.
Closes the count of the prastāvanā's five aṅgas — its own three (with prayogātiśaya as the third) plus the pair udghātyaka and avalagita drawn from the vīthī — ascribing the scheme to Bharata.
