३३१- तेमयावेकवचनस्य।331. temayāv ekavacanasya.तेश्च मेश्च तयोरितरेतरद्वन्द्वः, तेमयौ।teś ca meś ca — their itaretara-dvandva is temayau.तेमयौ प्रथमान्तम्, एकवचनस्य षष्ठ्यन्तं द्विपदमिदं सूत्रम्।temayau is in the nominative (prathamā) case, ekavacanasya in the genitive (ṣaṣṭhī) case; this sūtra has two words.युष्मदस्मदोः षष्ठीचतुर्थीद्वितीयास्थयोर्वानावौ से युष्मदस्मदोः षष्ठीचतुर्थीद्वितीयास्थयोः की अनुवृत्ति आती है।From ‘yuṣmad-asmadoḥ ṣaṣṭhī-caturthī-dvitīyā-sthayor vānāvau’ the anuvṛtti of yuṣmad-asmadoḥ ṣaṣṭhī-caturthī-dvitīyā-sthayoḥ is carried over.पदात् तथा अनुदात्तं सर्वमपदादौ इन सूत्रों का अधिकार है।The adhikāra of the sūtras ‘padāt’ and ‘anudāttaṁ sarvam apadādau’ is in force.
पद से परे और अपदादि में स्थित षष्ठी, चतुर्थी विभक्ति के एकवचन से युक्त युष्मद् और अस्मद् शब्दों के स्थान पर क्रमशः ते और मे आदेश होते हैं।In place of the words yuṣmad and asmad that follow a pada, stand in a non-pada-initial position, and are connected with the singular of the ṣaṣṭhī and caturthī cases, the substitutes te and me respectively are made.
यह सूत्र द्वितीया विभक्ति में त्वामौ द्वितीयायाः से बाधित होने के कारण षष्ठी और चतुर्थी में प्रवृत्त होता है।Because in the dvitīyā case it is set aside by ‘tvāmau dvitīyāyāḥ’, this sūtra operates in the ṣaṣṭhī and caturthī.
