२०४- ऋतो डिसर्वनामस्थानयोः।204. ṛto ḍisarvanāmasthānayoḥ.ऋतः षष्ठ्यन्तं, डिसर्वनामस्थानयोः सप्तम्यन्तं, द्विपदमिदं सूत्रम्।ṛtaḥ is in the genitive (ṣaṣṭhī), ḍisarvanāmasthānayoḥ is in the locative (saptamī); this sūtra has two words.अङ्गस्य का अधिकार है और ह्रस्वस्य गुणः से गुणः की अनुवृत्ति आती है।The adhikāra of aṅgasya is in force, and from hrasvasya guṇaḥ the word guṇaḥ is carried over (anuvṛtti).
ह्रस्व-ऋकारान्त अङ्ग को गुण होता है डि और सर्वनामस्थान के परे रहने पर।A stem ending in a short ṛ receives guṇa when ḍi and a sarvanāmasthāna follow.
सर्वनामस्थानसंज्ञा के सम्बन्ध में पूर्वसूत्र का स्मरण करें।Regarding the sarvanāmasthāna-saṁjñā, recall the preceding sūtra.इस सूत्र से जब गुण होगा तो उरण् रपरः से रपर भी हो जाता है।When guṇa takes place by this sūtra, then by uraṇ raparaḥ it also becomes rapara.यद्यपि सु के परे रहने पर इस सूत्र का उपयोग नहीं हो पाता, क्योंकि तब ऋदुशनस्पुरुदंसोऽनेहसाञ्च से अनड् आदेश हो जाता है।Although this sūtra cannot be applied when su follows, because then the substitute anaṅ takes place by ṛduśanaspurudaṁso'nehasāñca.
