asya bhīṣaṇasyanear this frightening one genitive, resolved by savidhamइस भयानक के — जिसका सम्बन्ध आगे 'सविध' से जुड़ता है
savidhamup close, to his sideपास, समीप
jīrṇasyawho is old and worn out genitive agreeing with asyaइस बूढ़े के — जो 'अस्य' के साथ ही चलता है

asya bhīṣaṇasya jīrṇasya śīrṇākṛteḥ savidham na yāsyāmi — I will not go up close to this frightening one, old and shriveled of body.
The child says: I will not go anywhere near this scary man. He is old, and his whole body is shrunken and worn.
This four-line verse is the udāharaṇa illustrating Kṛṣṇa as the ālambana (the object who provokes the laughter) of hāsya-bhakti-rasa; the lead-in 'tatra kṛṣṇaḥ' places it under Kṛṣṇa. The child Kṛṣṇa is speaking to his mother about a visiting old ascetic — whom Viśvanātha (below) identifies as the sage Nārada.

mātaḥ! asau kapaṭāt māṁ pidhāya ādhārikāyām neṣyati — O mother, this fellow will deceitfully cover me up and carry me off inside his cloth bag.
Mother! This man is out to trick me. He will cover me up, stuff me into his cloth bag, and carry me away!

iti uktvā cakitākṣam udvīkṣyamāṇe adbhuta-śiśau harau — when the wonderful child Hari, having said this, was gazing upward with frightened eyes.
Having said this, the wonder-child Hari looked up at the sage with wide, startled eyes.
A locative-absolute 'while…' clause that sets the stage — it holds the scene open so that the main event, the sage's laughter, can land in the last line.

hāsyaṁ tasya niruddhato’py atitarāṁ vyaktaṁ tadāsīn muneḥ ||
hāsyaṁlaughter [broke out] nominative subjectहँसी (वाक्य का कर्ता)
tasyahis — that sage's genitive, spelled out by muneḥ at the line's endउसकी — जो पंक्ति के अन्त में 'मुनेः' से स्पष्ट होता है
niruddhataḥ apieven though he kept holding it back api 'even'; present participle in the genitive, agreeing with the sageरोकने पर भी — 'अपि' 'भी' कहकर बल देता है, मुनि पर लागू
atitarāṁall the moreअत्यधिक, बहुत ही
vyaktaṁplainly, out in the open adverbस्पष्ट रूप से, प्रकट
tadāright thenतब

tadā tasya muneḥ niruddhataḥ api hāsyaṁ atitarāṁ vyaktaṁ āsīt — then the laughter of that sage, though he kept holding it back, broke out all the more, plain for all to see.
Then the sage could not help himself. Though he tried to hold his laughter in, it broke out all the more — right out in the open. This burst of laughter is the hāsa itself; it shows in the sage (its abode), and the comical fear of the child Kṛṣṇa is what draws it out.
This is the rasa-line: the hāsa (laughter) rises in the āśraya — the sage — while its object (ālambana) is the child Kṛṣṇa, whose mock-terror is the cause. That the sage tries and fails to suppress it marks the laughter as spontaneous and full-blown.

Viśvanātha pins down two words. First, 'ādhārikā' is the cloth begging-bowl that matted-hair sannyāsīs carry — so the child's fear is of being hidden in it and hauled off to the ascetic's own dwelling. Second, 'the sage' of the last line is Nārada.
