L1definition
pravāsaḥ saṅga-vicyutiḥ ||
pravāsaḥpravāsa — being away, living somewhere other than where the beloved isप्रवास — अर्थात् परदेश-गमन से होने वाला वियोग; यही यहाँ परिभाषित किया जा रहा है
saṅga-vicyutiḥis the falling away of being together — the two are no longer in one another's company saṅga 'togetherness, company' + vicyuti 'slipping away, being cut off'; the compound is the whole predicate of this one-line definitionसाथ रहने की जो स्थिति थी, उसका छूट जाना — सङ्ग (एक-दूसरे के साथ होना) का विच्युत हो जाना; यही पूरी परिभाषा है
pravāsaḥ — pravāsa; saṅga-vicyutiḥ — is the falling away of togetherness
pravāsa is defined in three words: the loss of being together. One of them has gone elsewhere, and the company they had is broken off. Nothing is said yet about how long, or why — only that the togetherness has fallen away.
pravāsa is literally 'dwelling abroad, being away from home'. Here it names a way of being separated, and what the definition fixes on is not the travelling but its effect: saṅga, the state of being in one another's company, has been cut.
'प्रवास' शब्द का सीधा अर्थ है घर से दूर जाकर रहना। परन्तु यहाँ वह वियोग के एक प्रकार का नाम है, और परिभाषा यात्रा पर नहीं, उसके परिणाम पर टिकती है — सङ्ग, अर्थात् दोनों का साथ-साथ रहना, कट गया।

vinihitalaid down, set to rest thereरखा हुआ, टिकाया हुआ
eka-kapola-pāleḥshe who has one cheek — just the one — resting in it eka-kapola-pālī, 'the curve of a single cheek'; the whole line is a bahuvrīhi in the genitive, describing the woman named only in line
hastodare — in the hollow of her hand; vinihita-eka-kapola-pāleḥ — of her who has laid one cheek down there
She is sitting with one cheek propped in the cup of her hand. That is the posture the whole verse is built on, and it is held from the first word. The poet does not say she is unhappy; he shows her sitting that way.
An udāharaṇa of pravāsa, the vipralambha just defined in the previous line — separation as the falling away of togetherness. The verse is quoted from Padyāvalī 350; it is spoken about a young woman of Vraja, in the third person.

aśrāntanever tiring, never letting up a-śrānta, 'unwearied' — said of the tears, which do not stop to restजो थकते ही नहीं — यह आँसुओं के विषय में कहा गया है, जो रुककर विश्राम नहीं लेते
locana-jalathe water of her eyes, her tearsनेत्रों का जल, अर्थात् आँसू
snapitānanāyāḥshe whose face has been bathed by them — washed, not merely wet snapita-ānanāyāḥ; snapita is the causative past participle of snā, 'to bathe', so the tears give her face a bath; genitive again, a second bahuvrīhi describing the same womanजिसका मुख (उन आँसुओं से) नहला दिया गया है — 'स्नापित' स्ना धातु का णिजन्त भूतकालिक रूप है, इसलिए आँसू ही उसके मुख को स्नान करा रहे हैं; यह भी षष्ठी में उसी स्त्री का दूसरा बहुव्रीहि विशेषण है
aśrānta-locana-jala — by the tireless water of her eyes; snapita-ānanāyāḥ — of her whose face has been bathed
Her tears do not stop. They have given her face a bath. The word is snapita, 'bathed' — not damp, not streaked, but washed over, the way you would bathe an image.
The mūla word here is aśrānta; Viśvanātha glosses it with santata, 'continuous'. See his note below.

avadhicounting from that day onward — it marks where the reckoning starts avadhi at the end of a compound sets a boundary in time; here the starting point, 'ever since'उस दिन से लेकर — समास के अन्त में 'अवधि' काल की सीमा बाँधता है; यहाँ आरम्भ-बिन्दु, अर्थात् 'जिस दिन से'
mādhavasyaof Mādhava, that is, it was his departure genitive attaching to prasthāna: the setting-out is his, not hersमाधव का — यह षष्ठी 'प्रस्थान' से जुड़ती है: चल पड़ना उनका है, उसका नहीं
mādhavasya prasthāna-maṅgala-dina-avadhi — ever since the auspicious day of Mādhava's setting out
Count from the day Mādhava left. That day was chosen as an auspicious one — a maṅgala day, the kind you pick for beginning a journey. It is the day her sleep ended.
maṅgala-dina is the technical term for a day astrologically cleared for starting out. The verse keeps the word: the day was auspicious for the traveller, and it is the day from which her nights are counted.
'मङ्गल-दिन' यात्रा आरम्भ करने के लिए ज्योतिष से शुद्ध ठहराए गए दिन का पारिभाषिक नाम है। श्लोक यह शब्द छोड़ता नहीं: वह दिन यात्री के लिए शुभ था, और वही दिन है जिससे उसकी रातें गिनी जा रही हैं।

nidrā-lavo’pi kuta eva saroruhākṣyāḥ ||
nidrā-lavaḥa scrap of sleep — a lava is the smallest piece you could nameनींद का एक कण, तनिक-सी नींद
apieven that much api pushes the already-tiny lava to its limit: not merely little sleep, but not even a shredभी — 'अपि' उस पहले से ही अत्यन्त छोटे 'लव' को अन्तिम सीमा तक ले जाता है: थोड़ी नींद ही नहीं, कण भर भी नहीं
kutaḥfrom where? — a question expecting no answerकहाँ से, किस प्रकार
evaat all — it sharpens the question into a flat denial kuta eva together: 'however could there be?', i.e. there is noneही — 'कुत एव' मिलकर होता है 'भला कहाँ से हो सकती है?', अर्थात् है ही नहीं
saroruhākṣyāḥfor the lotus-eyed one — and it is those very eyes that have been running saroruha-akṣyāḥ, 'she whose eyes are lotuses'; genitive of possession, and the word that finally names the person all three earlier phrases have been describingउस कमल-नयनी का — जिसके नेत्र कमल हैं; यह षष्ठी सम्बन्ध की है, और यही वह शब्द है जो अब तक के तीनों विशेषणों की आश्रयभूता स्त्री का नाम-रूप से निर्देश करता है
saroruhākṣyāḥ — for the lotus-eyed woman; nidrā-lavaḥ api — even a scrap of sleep; kutaḥ eva — how could there be at all?
Where would the lotus-eyed one get even a scrap of sleep? The question is the answer: she gets none. And notice the name held back to the end — she is called lotus-eyed, and those are the eyes that have been washing her face since he left. Cheek in hand, face bathed in tears, no sleep since the day he set out: that is what pravāsa looks like.

Jīva and Mukunda pass this verse by. Nothing is glossed. The line simply records that silence, so the reader knows there is no missing text.
This is a record of absence, not a comment. It stands where their gloss would have been.

santata-locana-jalena snapitam ānanaṁ yasyāḥ ||
santata-locana-jalenaby the unbroken water of her eyes — santata, 'running on without a gap', is his word for the verse's aśrānta instrumental of means: the tears are what does the bathingलगातार बहते नेत्र-जल के द्वारा — तृतीया करण की है: नहलाने का काम आँसू ही करते हैं
yasyāḥof her — of the woman whose face that is the relative pronoun that unties the bahuvrīhi: the compound in the verse is a description of her, not a statement on its ownजिसका — यही सम्बन्धवाचक सर्वनाम बहुव्रीहि की गाँठ खोलता है: श्लोक का वह समास अपने-आप में कोई कथन नहीं, उस स्त्री का विशेषण है
yasyāḥ — she of whom; ānanam — the face; santata-locana-jalena — by the continuous water of her eyes; snapitam — has been bathed
Viśvanātha does one job here: he unties the compound in line 3. Read it as 'she whose face has been bathed by the continuous water of her eyes'. He swaps aśrānta for santata — the tears are not tireless workers, they are simply unbroken, one running into the next. That is his whole note on the verse.
