kim iva kurute harmye tiṣṭhann ayaṁ nirapatrapo
kim iva kurutewhat on earth is he doing? kim with iva is an intensifier here, not a comparison — "what sort of thing is this he is doing!"; the question is a reproach, not a request for informationयह क्या ही कर रहा है!
harmyewhile sitting in a fine mansionमहल की छत पर (सप्तमी — जहाँ खड़ा है)
tiṣṭhanstaying there, settled inखड़ा हुआ, जब वह वहाँ ठहरा है
nirapatrapaḥwith no shame left in himनिर्लज्ज, जिसे कुछ भी लज्जा नहीं
ayam — this man here; nirapatrapaḥ — with no shame left in him; harmye — in a fine mansion; tiṣṭhan — staying settled; kim iva kurute — what on earth is he doing?
What on earth does this man think he is doing? He has no shame at all. He sits comfortably in a fine mansion — and stays there.
An udāharaṇa of cāpala, "rashness" — the agitated, cutting speech that breaks out under grief, listed among the vyabhicāri-bhāvas of vatsala-bhakti-rasa; the lead-in to the verse is simply "cāpalam—". The speaker is not named in the verse itself: Jīva calls her Śrī Vrajeśvarī, the mistress of Vraja, and Viśvanātha names her Yaśodā.

atra — here; ayam mugdhaḥ janaḥ — this person who does not know better; mudā — cheerfully; vrajapatiḥ iti — "he is the lord of Vraja"; brūte — says of him.
And here some fool cheerfully calls him "the lord of Vraja."

ahaha — alas!; prāṇebhyaḥ api priyam — dearer even than his own life; taṁ tanayam — that son; parihṛtya — having abandoned him.
Alas! That son was dearer to him than his own life. And he walked away and left him.

Stone-hearted, answering to nobody, he walks back into the cowherd village — and there he is, happy.

kim iva iti — the verse beginning "kim iva"; atiduḥkha-mayam — is wholly made of extreme grief; śrī-vrajeśvarī-vākyam — it is Śrī Vrajeśvarī's speech.
The verse starting "kim iva" is Śrī Vrajeśvarī's own speech. Jīva says it is made of nothing but extreme grief — that is the register to read it in.
vākyam here is not "sentence" in the grammarian's sense but "what she says" — the whole four-line outburst assigned to one speaker.

mudeti hāsya-pūrvakam ity arthaḥ |
mudā itias for the word "mudā", "with delight"जो 'मुदा' पद आया है, उसका आशय
hāsya-pūrvakamit means he says it with a laugh — the laughing comes first and the words followहँसी के साथ, हँसते हुए
iti arthaḥthat is the sense of it— यही अर्थ है
mudā iti — the word "mudā"; hāsya-pūrvakam — means "with laughter leading the way"; iti arthaḥ — that is its sense.
"Mudā" — with delight. Jīva narrows it: the man says it laughing. So it is not innocent cheer; the delight comes out as a laugh at her expense.

atra jagati mugdho jano deśāntara-stha-vipakṣa-rūpaḥ |

deśāntara-stha-vipakṣa-rūpaḥis somebody of the rival party, living off in some other countryदूसरे देश में रहने वाले विपक्ष के रूप में हैं — अर्थात् जो दूर बैठे हैं और इस पक्ष के नहीं
atra — "here"; jagati — means "in the world"; mugdhaḥ janaḥ — the uncomprehending person; deśāntara-stha-vipakṣa-rūpaḥ — is in the form of a rival stationed in another land.
"Here" means out in the world somewhere, not in Vraja. And the fool who talks that way is one of the rival camp, living in some other country. So on Jīva's reading she is not pointing at anyone present — she is imagining an enemy far away saying it.

tad idam api duḥkhena vitarka-mayam eva |
tat idam apiso this remark of hers tooइसलिए यह जो कहा गया, यह भी
duḥkhenacomes out of her grief instrumental of cause — grief is what produces the speechक्योंकि दुःख ही ऐसा बुलवा रहा है — शोक के कारण
vitarka-mayam evaand is nothing but guesswork — she is only supposing it eva shuts the door: guesswork and nothing moreकेवल अटकल ही है — 'एव' द्वार बन्द कर देता है: बस तर्क-वितर्क, इससे अधिक कुछ नहीं
tat idam api — so this too; duḥkhena — because of her grief; vitarka-mayam eva — is made purely of conjecture.
So this line too is grief talking. She has not heard anyone say it. It is pure supposition — she imagines some enemy somewhere laughing and calling him "lord of Vraja."

tasya vipakṣasya — from that rival; tādṛśa-vacanaṁ yuktam eva — such a remark is only fitting; iti — with that in mind; ahaha iti āha — he speaks the line beginning "ahaha".
Of course a rival would talk like that — it suits him. To bring that out, Rūpa Gosvāmī gives the next line, "ahaha…": here is what the man she is defending has actually done, so no wonder an enemy can crow about it.

ahaha iti ādinamely what the line beginning "ahaha" states'अहह' इत्यादि चरण (जो आगे कहा गया है)
svairī svacchandaḥ san"svairī" means being his own master, doing exactly as he likes san, "being", ties the word back to the man in the verse: it is how he acts as he goes in'स्वैरी' अर्थात् स्वच्छन्द होकर — 'सन्' पद इस विशेषण को श्लोक के उसी पुरुष से जोड़ देता है: भीतर जाते समय वह ऐसा ही बरतता है
ayaṁ nirlajjo nandaḥ — this shameless Nanda; kiṁ kurute — what is he doing?; mugdho vipakṣa-rūpo janaḥ — an uncomprehending person of the rival camp; vrajapatir iti brūte — says "the lord of Vraja"; yataḥ — because; ahaha iti ādi — as the "ahaha" line says; svairī — svacchandaḥ san — meaning, being wholly his own master.
ayaṁ nirlajjaḥ nandaḥ kiṁ kurute?
Viśvanātha fills in the names and the joins. The shameless man is Nanda: what does he think he is doing? The fool who calls him "lord of Vraja" belongs to the enemy camp. And the reason he can say it is what follows in the "ahaha" line. "Svairī" he glosses as svacchanda — a man who answers to nobody, who does just as he pleases.
