gadgada-mayī gadgada-vākya-pracurā yaśodā śrī-kṛṣṇasya tanau mantra-nyāsaṁ karoti |
gadgada-vākya-pracurāmeans her speech is full of choking — the words come out broken pracurā, 'abounding in', is what he puts in place of -mayīजिसके वचन गद्गद से भरे हुए हैं — '-मयी' के स्थान पर वे 'प्रचुरा' अर्थात् 'से भरी हुई' रखते हैं
yaśodāand the one doing all this is Yaśodā he supplies the subject up front, from line 4, so the sentence reads straight throughयशोदा — कर्ता को वे चौथी पंक्ति से उठाकर पहले ही रख देते हैं, जिससे वाक्य सीधा पढ़ा जाए
śrī-kṛṣṇasya tanauon Śrī Kṛṣṇa's body — he names who Hari isश्रीकृष्ण के शरीर पर — 'हरेः' को वे 'श्रीकृष्ण' कहकर खोलते हैं
mantra-nyāsamthe setting of the mantrasमन्त्र-न्यास
karotishe does — which is all the verse's praṇayati means here karoti stands in for praṇayati; the substitution is the whole pointकरती है — 'प्रणयति' के स्थान पर 'करोति'; यही बदल यहाँ का सारा प्रयोजन है
gadgada-mayī — gadgada-vākya-pracurā, her words full of choking; yaśodā — Yaśodā; śrī-kṛṣṇasya tanau — on Śrī Kṛṣṇa's body; mantra-nyāsam karoti — performs the setting of the mantras.
Viśvanātha unpacks -mayī as 'full of': her speech comes out thick and broken. Then he lays the sentence out straight — Yaśodā performs the mantra-setting on Śrī Kṛṣṇa's body. He fills in both things the line leaves implied, the subject and who Hari is. And praṇayati, he says, is just karoti: she does it.

stanāt dugdha-kṣaravatīmeans milk is trickling from her breast ablative stanāt names the source it flows out ofजिसके स्तन से दूध झर रहा है — पंचमी 'स्तनात्' उस स्रोत को बताती है जहाँ से वह बहता है
hasteon his hand locative; the verse itself said bhuje, on the armहाथ पर — सप्तमी; श्लोक ने तो 'भुजे', अर्थात् भुजा पर, कहा था
raksāuṣadhamthat is, a protecting herbरक्षा करनेवाली औषधि
iti yāvatthat is all it comes toबस इतना ही अर्थ है
dadātimeans simply she gives it to himदेती है — इसे इसी अर्थ में लीजिए
ity arthaḥthat is the meaning closes the word-substitution: read diśati as dadātiयही अर्थ है — शब्द-परिवर्तन को यहाँ बन्द किया जाता है: 'दिशति' को 'ददाति' पढ़िए
snuvānā — snuvānā [is] stanāt dugdha-kṣaravatī, milk trickling from her breast; haste — on his hand; kārmaṇam — mūla-karma, rakṣauṣadham iti yāvat, a root-charm, that is, simply a protecting herb; diśati — dadāti ity arthaḥ, means she gives it.
Three small clarifications. Snuvānā: milk is trickling from her breast. Kārmaṇam: a root-charm, plainly a protective herb — the same reading Jīva gives. And diśati just means she gives it, placing it on his hand.
The verse reads bhuje, 'on his arm'; Viśvanātha writes haste, 'on his hand'. Left as each stands — the decode does not square the two.
