paśoḥof an animal, of a beast genitive, agreeing with vikrītasyaपशु का (षष्ठी — 'बेचे हुए' के साथ अन्वय)
yathā vikrītasya paśoḥ — just as of an animal that has been sold; rakṣāyai — for its upkeep; cintām na kuryāt — one should not have any worry.
Just think of an animal you have already sold. Once it is sold, you no longer worry about feeding it or keeping it safe. That is now the new owner's concern, not yours. This is the first half of the comparison; the point it is set up to make comes in the next line.
Why cited: Opens the sold-animal example that will illustrate full surrender of the body to Hari.
paśu: ordinarily any domestic animal or livestock; here simply the sold beast whose former owner is free of all care for it.

tathā — so too; deham harau arpayan — offering the body to Hari; asya rakṣaṇāt viramet — he should stop protecting it.
In the very same way, once you have offered your body to Hari, you should stop guarding it. Here the mapping is exact: the sold animal is your body; the buyer who now owns it is Hari; you are the former owner who has let it go. The lesson: having truly given the body to Hari, leave its safekeeping to him and drop the anxiety of protecting it yourself. The example proves this one point about self-surrender; it is not saying you may neglect or abuse the body, only that the burden of worrying over it is no longer yours.
Why cited: Completes the sold-animal analogy to teach that once the body is offered to Hari one should give up all anxious care of it.
arpaṇa / ātma-nivedana here: the surrender of the body to Hari, of which giving up self-directed care is the practical sign.
