जिन जनों की बुद्धि सच्चे धर्म को भली-भाँति जानने के लिए दृढ़ आग्रह से युक्त है।
sad-dharma = sat ('true, real') + dharma; here 'the genuine, right path,' not merely 'good conduct' or a sectarian creed. nirbandha in ordinary use means insistence or persistence — hence nirbandhinī matiḥ is a mind that persists, will not be deflected.
सद्धर्म = सत् ("सच्चा, यथार्थ") + धर्म; यहाँ इसका अर्थ "सच्चा, सही मार्ग" है, केवल "सदाचरण" या किसी सम्प्रदाय-विशेष का मत नहीं। "निर्बन्ध" का साधारण अर्थ है आग्रह या दृढ़ता — इसलिए "निर्बन्धिनी मति" वह बुद्धि है जो दृढ़ रहती है, विचलित नहीं होती।
